Just bought a new small battery as the old one drained juice but now the main battery is going out too.
It is possible to test the individual cells and replace them if you know how.
A reconditioned battery is $1200 in shops in San Francisco with a warranty but can be gotten for $6-800 on line if you look.
Car has over 225,000 miles on it.
We also replaced the spark plugs last year.
Car needs tags and smogged.
A/c worked fine.
Has navigation system, am fm radio.
Needs new tires or fix as they leak and 2 new hubcaps.
We bought it for $4,000 from a private party 2 years ago.
Oil changed every 3,000 miles.
Needs new transmission fluid and coolant.
Navigation system worth $600-$800; dealer will charge $800-1,000 as an add on when new.
Transmission seemed to be fine.
This would be good for a mechanic or as a parts car.
Paint on roof is oxidized.
Headlight needs replacement.
Lens can be sanded and is common with the plastic lenses of these cars.
Chris Fox on YouTube has a video showing how to repair and remove the oxidation on the headlight lenses.

My 2007 blew the head gasket last year. It was just repaired & the catalytic converter was replaced as it was stolen because it was parked. Muffler pipe may have been cut when they stole it.
