That clickbait didn't work on me.  Williamson County, Williamson County!, decided to not allow the flying of the homosexual "pride" flag. The homos were clever and tried to also say to fly the POW flag. Luckily the Council decided to keep old law. Only three flags can fly on county property: Texas, USA, and County flags.

ps: Six-Flags amusement parks will now only fly the USA flag due to the "controversies" over the other five flags. So ridiculous.

pps: Anadarko, the original Schlitterbahn, and now Whataburger (!!) have been sold to non-Texans. WTF is happening??

"The protesters who shut down Houston Ship Channel during the Democratic debate on Thursday were released from jail Saturday after pleading not guilty in federal court for their roles in a daylong Greenpeace USA protest of the oil industry.

The 22 people in court Saturday live in 13 different states and the District of Columbia, but none reside in Texas."

"... the organization has heard that some of the black and trans protesters “received bad treatment during their time in jail,” and she said they want to make sure whoever is responsible is held accountable."

Poor babies.  ::) I hope, but don't expect these clowns to be held accountable for their actions.

This was before the Democratic Debate Circus. Hopefully they will be charged, convicted, serve some kind of sentence and pay a large fine. Due to National Security they should also be charged with terrorism, possibly trying to shut down a major port with security implications. The weird thing is that they were protesting, I guess, the Democrats? And pretty crazy stunt risking just one frustrated driver or passerby just didn't take out his pocket-knife and cut a few cords.

Efficiency, depending on humidity, is 28 gallons of water per 1 gallon of diesel. And in places where it can be hooked up to the 'grid' the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality requires power consumption no higher than 0.13 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per liter for approval. The unit developed by Moses used only 0.08 kWh in testing, and in Puerto Rico achieved 0.05 kWh.  But he is investigating using solar. I like that he designed it to be a standard 20ft ISO Container so easy transport on vessel, train, and truck.

What do you think of this case, Albrecht?  Truly unfortunate all-around but I definitely wouldn't want to be a cop in today's political environment.

"The Ranger, David Armstrong, said outside the presence of the jury that he believed Guyger was reasonable when she shot Jean and that he didn't believe she committed a crime. (He was the law enforcement officer who obtained her arrest warrant on a manslaughter charge.)"

Sorry, Ranger.  The unfortunate fellow, Jean, wasn't white and former officer Guyger is of that persuasion.

Not good. Especially since the likely affirmative action hire female, over-worked for her ability, at least according to her own testimony or lawyer claims by "by going into the wrong floor and wrong apartment", who killed a St. Lucian immigrant, apparently, according to reports, just watching his laptop on his couch, witness to the event has now been killed in a "random" shooting.

https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/Man-Fatally-Shot-at-Dallas-Apartment-Complex-562267151.html

"Botham Shem Jean, whose nickname was “Bo,” comes from a prominent family in Saint Lucia. According to St. Lucia Times, Jean was the son of Allison Jean, described as “former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Gender Relations and sustainable Development” and Bertram Jean, who was a store supervisor for Water and Sewerage Company Inc., known as WASCO. His uncle, Ignatius Jean, is “Chief Executive Officer of the Caribbean Water and Sewerage Association Inc. (CAWASA) and former government Minister and Parliamentarian,” St. Lucia Times reported."

And closer to home, though I'm outta town now, apparently he "just wanted a tan?" It also raises the question that, seriously, do we need tannin salons in Texas, especially for Hispanics. But really- anyone, just work outside or GO outside for a bit.

ps: that area, again, is a BIG homeless park(s) in the woods. Lots of fires and incidents.

Thought maybe they were inedible like the "coot" duck.

Apparently, they are delicious.  I would "burn" them in a specially designed 475F oven...

Still awaiting "The Great Texas Duck Massacre."  I would then expect a duck uprising, with the ducks quacking "Remember Pearland!," as they beat-back the good 'ol boys, seize Pearland and rename it Quackersville.

The targeted Muscovy ducks actually are from south of the border.

"The Muscovy duck (Cairina moschata) is a large duck native to Mexico, Central, and South America. Small wild and feral breeding populations have established themselves in the United States, particularly in Florida, Louisiana, Massachusetts, and the lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas as well as in many other parts of North America, including southern Canada."

They really shouldn’t even be considered a “law enforcement” agency anymore. They’re really more like an evil secret society.

Even though there are probably many good men and women who still work at these agencies I honestly believe the only way to get rid of the problem is to tear the entirety of the FBI, CIA and NSA out at the roots. In the end only one guy could do this and I believe he doesn’t have the guts in reality. I would love to be proven wrong however.

I used to think those who talked about JFK being offed by the CIA were completely bonkers. After last election cycle’s fiasco I believe I may have been entirely incorrect. This culture of corruption may be decades old and terrifyingly deep rooted.   If that is the case I’m not entirely sure what to even do about it on the individual level.

I guess Yogurt Shop murders is more local interest but was/is a yuuge tragic story with so much malfeasence, bad policing, rumors, conspiracy theories, bad company policy, crazy "live news" reports, and such. And since never solved so frustrating for FBI to block.
