Well, as I predicted on this very forum, Donald Trump would be impeached and alienate both parties if he were elected. Right again.

Now we're left with the decision of, demented Joe, or batshit crazy Donald. The world is burning. Welcome to Hell. Thank-you, MAGA people.

I just watched this video again, it was not this interview where Fravor mentioned Day by name.  He does claim some of the "witnesses" are making stuff up, but doesn't mention names.  I'll have to see if I can find the interview I remembered.

As I said initially, I see parallels between this story and Rendelsham.  I wasn't meaning to imply I thought Day was necessarily trying to make money off this deal, rather that there are those who will attempt to make money and/or a name for themselves off his story.  Same with the others involved.

What I'd love to see is a round table discussion with all the "witnesses "identified in the PM article, moderated by someone capable but without a dog in the fight.  I'd nominate John Batchelor, probably the best radio interviewer I've ever heard.

Well, my take away from this video is, first, Cmdr. Fravor, for allegedly being a "reluctant witness" damn sure knows how to play a live audience, doesn`t he?. I doubt he`s ever seen a camera he didn`t try to get in front of or a microphone he didn`t try to talk into. He strikes me as an arrogant prick. That, in no way diminishes the veracity of his story, of course. Just an observation from yours truly.

Second, I don`t doubt for a second there`s going to be some enterprising sailors with a little initiative and imagination that are going to try and cash in on this story. Hell, I`d be disappointed if they didn`t try. MIB? "Sure, man, we saw `em!" Yeah, I can totally see that happening. He DID mention, specifically, PTSD. I suspect there are, or is, some person(s) pursuing that claim. I don`t have any information on that. Kevin may, or may not, be suffering from PTSD. If I had to guess, I would say he definitely is, or was,  experiencing textbook symptoms of PTSD. Fravor has a very cavalier attitude it seems regarding the legitimacy of any claims along those lines. Again; displaying his arrogance. BTW, Kev said Fravor was "shitting his pants, screaming 'OMG, OMG! I`M ENGAGED, I`M ENGAGED!'" when he closed the "tic tac."

Third, I agree with you, Duke. There are some parallels with the Rendlesham incident. Also very stark differences that set this incident in a class of it`s own. Obviously, the evidence in this case is far more tangible, and thus, believable.  All the evidence ties together very well. There`s plenty of corroborating evidence, such as multiple eye witnesses, radar data, video footage, etc. all exactly in line with accepted narrative of this incident which when you boil it all down is: UFOs tracked on SPY1 radar (keep in mind, not just ANY radar); a/c sent to intercept UFO, which was verified as "not of this world" by Top Gun grad pilot with 18 years experience. Very clean; very precise; very believable. Unlike Rendlesham, it`s pretty near impossible for any skeptic worth his salt to find wiggle room on this one.

I've seen Fravor's comments about Day both in print and on video.  The video was from his appearance at a UFO conference in Oregon this past spring with Knapp and Corbell.  I found Fravor's comments surprisingly pointed, he didn't say he thought Day (and others) were wrong or that he disagreed with them, he flat out said they were making stuff up and used the term "bullshit."  I'd be curious to know what Day's thoughts are on Fravor's comments.

As I said previously, this is shaping up as a pissing contest among those involved.  This isn't officers v. enlisted, or brown shoes v. brown shoes, it appears to be claim staking on the part of those involved.  I expect the various factions will have their champions/promoters as time goes along who will be trying to make a buck off their stories.  The books and documentaries are coming, and I suspect sooner than later.

I haven`t heard Fravor say anything derogatory about Kevin (not that I`m really paying attention). I can`t even begin to speculate why he would. Not only was Kevin one of the -- if not *the* -- most respected professional in his field in the entire U.S. Navy, Kevin was the one controlling Fravor`s a/c through this entire event. Kevin is the one who briefed the CO on these contacts and, subsequently,  convinced the CO to intercept them. Further, they both have agreed publicly that it`s their belief those a/c  were "not of this world."  I mean, they are essentially lockstep in agreement on all the salient facts.

I haven`t been in contact with Kevin since not too long after he was on C2C AM. He`s a busy guy, as am I. But I can tell you that he was very deeply affected by this event -- mentally, physically, spiritually; in every way possible. He`s not out to exploit this experience for money. He really just wants to try and understand whats going on and why the government isn`t making "a bigger deal" about it.

The appeal for me, is all the people we get to meet, the theories we get to hear, and the places they visit to gather information.

Yeah, truthfully, it`s always interesting to hear different theories.

There`s no question that something very interesting happened on that little island hundreds of years ago. It`s really no longer about finding "the treasure." I think it`s about finding cool artifacts and piecing together some logical theory as to what was going on back then. I`m just hoping the picture gets a little clearer when it`s finally a wrap.

I expect this to eventually evolve into a Rendelsham-like pissing contest among the "witnesses." Those involved, or at least claiming to have been involved, are already starting to have their stories questioned. Frevor has stated some of those making claims are making stuff up, especially Day. (Having heard Turner's claims, I doubt his credibility to a great degree.) As time goes on, and each of the witnesses get co-opted into different camps, I think we'll see finger pointing and derisiveness among them. I also believe we'll see story "creep" start to set in.

Kevin Day is a very good friend of mine. I actually fixed him up with his wife, with whom he`s been married over 30 years. I can tell you that he is THE most professional, honest, straight-laced, no-nonsense, just-the-facts, talented enlisted sailor I ever knew. Kev does NOT make shit up. Period. I`ve spoken to him at length about this incident, and it has radically changed his entire view of reality and life as we know it.

This show is killin` me. I have watched every single episode. At this point, I`m just too invested to quit.

I hate myself for watching it. However, I do find some entertainment factor in watching Marty and Rick`s kid(s)/ nephew(s) grow-up and observing how much they look like their dad(s)/uncle(s).

I miss Dan, though.

There's absolutely no question at all that Iran is responsible for the attacks. My goodness, the satellite surveillance capabilities that we now possess; there's just no question.

So I spoke to the President and he agreed with my earlier post on this subject when I advocated for even stronger sanctions. Why? Because they are strangling Iran:

Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) Tweeted:
I have just instructed the Secretary of the Treasury to substantially increase Sanctions on the country of Iran! http://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1174305447513186304?s=17

By drones on Saudi's Abqaiq oil processing facility and the Khurais oil field.  Iran-backed rebels take claim for attack but officially the US SoS is saying Iran, by tweet, of course.. So besides the likely oil prices escalation this will inflame, no pun intended, the region even more- even IF Bolton is gone and "bomb, bomb, Iran" McCain is dead.

Well, we do have to respond. The only question is, in what manner. Personally, I would unleash our cyber warriors on them and strangle them even more with tighter sanctions. Bring them to their knees. MAYBE, just maybe, we spark a revolution. No effeminate Obama in the WH to throw a wet binky over it this time.

The PRC also didn't bluff Tibet (early 50s), India (1962), USSR (1969), Vietnam (1979), the Tiananmen protestors (1989), or most recently, relative to their claims in the South China Sea.

They have warned the Hong Kong protesters, and surprisingly given them a lot of leeway, but it will end badly if things keep up as they are or get worse.

Duke, I just have to disagree. This is a new age. The information age, if you will. The world has changed dramatically.  China absolutely can not afford to commit another human rights atrocity similar to Tiananmen Square. Won`t happen. They`ll rough a few protesters up; make some outlandish proclamations, but they`re not going to slaughter thousands of people. That would spell the end of China as we know it. I have no doubt of it. Should be interesting to see how it plays out. Especially with Trump interjecting himself squarely in the middle of it (which, BTW, I think is a very intelligent and well-played move).

I think Xi is savvy enough to understand how delicate this situation  is  for  them. The world has changed. Trump is not Obama or Clinton or even Bush (especially GHWB). We all know that the survival of China is heavily dependent  on what the USA does. Trump is a wild card and thus, makes Xi very nervous. He could bring China to its knees with one swipe of the pen. And as we have seen, he has hinted at exactly that.

In many States, usually Southern or Border, they have laws against covering your face in public (due to history of the Klan etc) and in most places they have laws about incitement to riot, in addition to the normal rules about assault, battery, blocking a thoroughfare, vandalism, public intoxication, and so on. It is true that the police have been told to 'stand down' and that the DA's just won't prosecute? Does the average citizen really like this kind of behavior? Why do they tolerate it?

They also have lenient  concealed  carry laws -- for the most part. I dont know a single person who does not carry.

If it doesn't abate soon Beijing will have no choice but to send in troops.  The only question is how high the body count will be.

My personal opinion is, they will insert some of their goons and paramilitary forces to bloody up the protesters a bit, and test their will. If that doesn't work, they will regroup and there will be a time of peace, albeit, a tense peace, and we'll see what happens from there. It's a different world now than it was when the Tiananmen Square massacre took place

The protesters are adamantly standing their ground. The Chicoms have moved in thousands of shock troops. Something has got to give.

Also, what role, and to what extent, will Trump play in this drama? Will China relent in the face of new tariffs?

Kevin Day is, perhaps, the most honest, professional and "no-BS" man I`ve ever served with or knew on any level. He is a strictly "just the facts, ma`am" kind of professional. What he said, you can absolutely believe, is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Which is why this story is SO fascinating to me. I KNOW its true
