This last week and a half has been and up and down emotional roller coaster for my wife and I. We got the bad news that one of our nephews, who is a cute adorable little minion was very sick and had to be rushed to the hospital. It took us back 16 years ago when our youngest had a seizure and his heart stopped. I had been trained in CPR in the Coast Guard, with the Sheriff's Dept and with Airport Public Safety. Nothing prepares you for the shock of doing infant CPR on your own kid!
Well back the my little nephew Sephiroth. He's my oldest niece's first child barely 9 months old and now in ICU at Wisconsin Children’s Hospital. I'm sure some others here have been down this road when you were young parents too. I'm posting his GoFundMe page here.
Even if you don't donate I know thanks to Art Bell's different radio shows over the years the power of Prayer. So if you can include this little guy in your daily prayers it would be much appreciated!

Art posted this photo of himself on Facebook in 2013. This is the caption he wrote: "Here I am at KUDE Oceanside, Ca at 27 YRS old"
Just noticed that from the side Art looks a wee bit like Mick Jager back then!

Finally got to sit and listen to the whole show from the archives last night, well at least she's a great story teller. But my favorite caller was the girl who seemed to be snorting Helium and/or smoking the Deevels Weed, Maryjuana! I think that's kind of the best way to listen to this kind of guest! :o

wtf is artic chaaga anyways?? had me and a friend laughing the other night... Thinking about mayor quimby saying "chaaaaaggaaaaaah" like " chaaaaaadaaaaaar"
Here's the link to the magical fungus from Alaska, Well I guess it's better than the Carnivora bullshit!
http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/1162672-meet-chaga-arctic-birch-fungus/

And here's a sample paragraph that will make you want a steaming mug of it in the morning! :o :P

Chaga has been called a tree cancer, and its development plays like an arboreal horror film in super slow motion. This fungal parasite infects trees deep within the trunk. As the mass grows over the course of several years, it pushes through the bark, oozing out in blobs until the host dies.

I think there is a behind the scenes battle with C2C losing a lot of listeners on the east coast when their show starts at 11PM EST.
Considering that's when MITD start on the East coast too. Three whole hours lost to Art.
Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to ART WARS!!!!!!!

Episode One: A New Hope.......................... Art Solo and his trusty sidekick Chewhoagie decide that the good folks on Earth have been dumbed down and brainwashed enough by Darth Noory. So they get together and fix up the Pahrump Falcon!
They launch and broadcast over coded frequencies to try to save the wasted and desperate minds of so many.
Up in the cockpit on Art Solo's control panel he keeps a picture of little Princess Asia and Queen Airyndalla.
He knows he must succeed so his little princess will live in a better world.
Soon the people of Earth are surprised, then happy they don't have to listen to Darth NoorY! Some of the terrestrial SW stations even pick up the broadcast and send the signal farther. Success is achieved, but the Darth Noory notices less people are listening to his mindless drivel, and even worse, some of his  advisers are going over to Art Solo's side! Even Emperor Premratine get's wind of what going on and he tells Darth Noory that the need to crush the listeners rebellion! :D ;D :)

Art Wars Episode Two:............................The Empire Strikes Back: Darth Noory assembles his dark forces to round up the rebel loving advisers who are trying to join Art Solo and Chewhoagie. he sends out his troops led by General Wiesnheimer to hunt down and remind them they swore an oath to Darth Noory. if they don't come back they will never be heard from again! Art and Chewhoagie are shocked and saddened by the loss of good friends who were loyal to him long before Darth Noory showed up. Some are snatched away after coded contact just as the Pahrump Falcon is just five minutes away! :-[ :'(

Art Wars Episode Three:................Revenge of The Gabbers!      Coming Soon to a Forum Near You! ;D :D ;)

Episode is on Netflix, Title: Satanic Mechanic. She shows up first looking normal, then when she picks it up in full Elvira outfit.

Well for 70 years old I'm sure he's getting a little wheezy in the attic.
Just be glad he's not like a lot of 70 and up guys who suffer from Chronic Fartitis!
It's one of the main reasons I don't go to Denny's on Veterans day for the free meal, between the wait to get seated and the constant gas attacks! :P :-[

Aww Griffin, don't go away all pissy, Just GO AWAY!
Sorry if we are too rude of a bunch, but considering all the dingbats and Kool-Aid sippers on other Forums and shows that believe everything the Guvmint and Fuax News tells them we are more than a wee bit Cynical! ??? ;D
My saying at work whenever they try to promote me again is "I'd Rather be swinging with my men at the end of a rope, than be kicking the horses out from underneath them!"  It means I've seen thru all the Song and Dance, Magical Mystical Sunshine Blowing and general ass kissing that comes with higher rank. I've seen behind the curtains of the high and mighty from politicians and Captains of Industry, and pretty much know they throw the rank and file workers under the bus to make the stockholders or Lobbyist happy!

One guest bolting or falling asleep, fine, it's happened before. 2 guests bowing out, Sabotage! Art's getting great audience during the 1st 2 hours of C2C. Doesn't do good for trying to sell commercials when the customer knows no one is listening!

It was great listening to SIT from Art's birthday 20 years ago. Especially at the end. Ramona knew Art loved the "Midnight at the Oasis"
song. So she tracked down the female singer of the song, who turned out to be a big fan of Art's and had her sing "Happy Birthday" to Art! ;D

Been there, done that, worked for a Sheriff Dept back in the late 80's, early 90's.
Yeah them damn TV shows don't show the mind numbing work that goes into building a case,
and getting all the evidence together. And the fun of barfing your guts out at a murder scene
when a dead body has been rotting for 4 or 5 days in a closed apartment or car.
Really gruesome when they were chopped up by a nutjob with a knife or axe instead of just shot.
Or the absolute hilarity when a jealous wife catches her husband screwing some other broad in their
bed, then she grabs some Super Glue, sneaks up behind them and squirts it on to the copulating naughty parts.
Christ that was hard trying to keep a straight face until the Paramedics arrived! :o

Geez Louise, it's like the "Phantom of the Opera" Touring production, just with different actors!
Poor Jimmy Carter with his head in his hands when he was told the truth! Heard that one 10 years Ago!
Ike had "In God we Trust" on the coins and Paper Money to calm us because "Dem lil Green Men are here!"
Old News too, take me back to Windows 3.11 already!
The cover-up after the "OOPS, we told the true story of the Roswell Crash!"
We've heard this shinola before, just from older guests, many who have died off or gone to nursing homes
for the slightly looney. I couldn't believe what I had to do, turn of tonight's live Art, for classic Art from the 90's!
I want to take last night's download and put it on my old Sony Microtape recorder and play it at double speed
so it sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks. Can listen to the whole show in just 50 mins!
#203
Well I know from my friends that work in the Looney Bin, Ooops, sorry, Mental Health Center! That Jorch's Show is very popular with the paranoid/schizophrenics and the manic/depressives in the halls at night! :o

Geez, was the guy that got Alienated a lot by the school janitor as a kid eating a bowl of Froot Loops soaking in MT. Dew?
Talk about Hyperyacktivity! :o To bad he didn't have some Helium balloons to suck on!

Back in the 90's, a bunch of us (Marines) got together and were conjuring up fake degrees and certs to hang on walls.  I, myself, quite humbly was a certified door gunner on the shuttle.  I was also an instructor on 4 dimensional gunnery.  "Lead the UFO above and to the right!  Little reptoid bastards will fly right into your fire!"
Door Gunner on the Shuttle, I like that! Only fair since the Rooskies had a 23mm gun on their Almaz station!
Take this you pinko commie bastards, We got a G.E. Minigun on our shuttles BRRRRAAAAAPPPP! :D

Ok for all the Ding-Dongs out there in Panic land tell them this: All the water that ever was and forever will be is here on earth today. It isn't drying up and evaporating into space it's here and now, California's problem is man made. All the refugees from the Dust Bowl in the 30's moved West and started new farms because that's all they knew, subsistence farming.
and to keep the farms growing they diverted river water and streams to grow their crops. No Water authority existed back then.
So the crop planters and produce from the central U.S. moved westward and the canning factories sprung up. Really, the Canneries need a LOT of water. For awhile it was OK. But California and Arizona are Arid states with hit and miss rainfall years.
Then WW2 happened, big defense plants sprung up, and with that masses of thirsty factory workers moved west for work after the lean years after the Great Depression, At the end of the war they stayed, built houses and had to have LUSH lawns like back east. And don't forget they had to wash those big Shiny Buicks and Pontiacs once a week, it's in their DNA to this day!
Same thing on the African Continent, shitload of troops to the colonies to fight the Gerry's. Big buildup of bases and camps that taxed the scarce resources. Then baby boom after the war. Everybody has to have a big tub to wash the rugrats in!
California needs to de-populate back to the east and midwest. "But, But I need to STAY in Cali! That's where all the Stars and Beach Babes Are!" Well then Sheep Dip, have fun taking a sand bath!

Well on Sat listen to the first 3 hours of SIT, the switch over to MITD. That'll give you six hours of Art! 8) ;D ;)
And on other days just listen to some of the DM or C2C Archives of Art.
When I've had to work 12 hr shifts on the weekend it's Art for awhile, then the Best of the Bob and Tom Show.
That way I get to keep my ears and brain clean and clear of Scary Uncle Dave!
