Hi, everyone!
I haven't been around for months... good to see familiar names still posting. :)
Has bateman done a show?
I keep checking the "Dark City" webpage but I don't see anything new.
Did he move?

No show again...?
Dark City is becoming the most popular podcast you'll never hear   :P

C'mon bateman! Stop watching porn, and get a show out. ;)

Too bad I think that I blew that call after mentioning Walton.
Good call, Juan!

No, Art. No education for Americans.
The dumber the better (for TPTB).

He gets a pass.

There's no faking or replacing this magic. Whatever anyone says, when the man comes around, there's nothing else close.
Art is THE MASTER.

Dammit why does art come back on the night I have to get up at 3:fucking30
You won't need to get up at F#&@% 3:30 if you don't go to bed.  ;)

Great to see you around.

And your 1st comment in 3 months is critical....  just be happy he's here.

I'm just happy that he's here, regardless of any topic.

Yeah, politics is not one of my favorite forms of entertainment, but as long as is Art speaking, I'll listen to anything.  ;D

It's sooooooo good to hear Art's voice LIVE again. Tonight's show is gold.
Initially I thought they were replaying an old Art show, but I quickly realized that it was HIM, LIVE. I'm super thrilled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for being with us tonight, Art.  :)

I've been working on the website this weekend. The new web guy is taking longer than anticipated so instead of sitting around with my thumb up my ass, I decided to do it myself and the VIP archive will come later.
Oh, bateman... you keep breaking my heart. :'(  I don't know if it can be mended.  :(

Oh, wait. I'll just go and listen to Howard Hughes' or James Swagger's latest.  :P

Just finished listening. Very good show, bateman!
I think transhumanism is a topic that should have more exposure to make "the masses" aware of what's likely coming. Having said that, I do not agree with the general idea of immortality through technology. Some on here have commented that they find the whole thing scary. I find it concerning and sad.  Yes, I'm one of those people who want to remain human.

Anyway, thanks for bringing us this topic on the show. Looking forward to next week. :)

Yes Feb 4th 8PM Eastern.  So far, the plan is that Art will be on with MV  ;D
I just heard Heather mention that. Awesome!
It will be so great to hear Art's voice again, even for a little while. :)

I think I would prefer three or four "canned" shows, followed by a live show where Steve will take calls and discuss the previous weeks' canned shows.
What do think, bateman?

Just finished listening. I though it as a fun test show. Sure, more callers would have been interesting, but you kept it going and made the most of it. You certainly have "the gift of gab," so I see no reason not to do live shows. Having said that, I do enjoy the pre-recorded shows because they let me focus on the topic. So, How about a little of both, some pre-recorded and an occasional live show.

I will as long as themudking keeps paying me.
I hope he's paying you major bucks, because now you have to buy me two apples. Yes, I'm hereby demanding compensation. Here's why: I was sitting listening to the latest BellPhiles show while stewing said apples. You had me so engrossed with your smooth talk, that I forgot all about the apples. Next thing I know, I'm smelling burnt apples and see smoke coming from the pot. Half my highly-anticipated dessert had turned black. Grrrr...  It's all your fault! (as usual). Now I demand that you buy me two Jazz apples and fly them to my town tonight. I need my dessert.

I'll be waiting at the airport.

Edit:  Make that 4 apples. Pain and suffering, y'know.

I truly enjoyed the interview with Chris Carter. I thought Heather did a fine job and asked interesting questions. Like many others, I wish the interview could have been longer, but it was great listening to Chris talk about The X-Files.

The latest episode can be found here or wherever good podcasts are sold: http://thebellphiles.com/podcast/episode-6-the-x-files-and-area-51-pilot/
The show is back?! Awesome!
Will you two continue doing the show on a regular basis from now on?

I'm just thankful bateman has it, and it wasn't lost forever.  It wouldn't surprise me at all if it turned out to be a meaningful piece of radio history, even tho it was "only a test".   I wish bateman a fun, interesting and successful future!!

So Say We ALL!!  ....even Jackstar.
Thanks, Brig for making this available to all of us. :)

Hurry up with the next one!

Chris Carter tonight. Finally! :)
I've been soooooo looking forward to this interview. And I'm sure Heather will ask all the right questions.

Settling down with some good food and a warm beverage. Ready to enjoy the evening.

I'm loving what Chris Carter is giving us. Keeping true to the original with the bonus of bigger and better special effects.
And a funny monster-of-the-week ep coming up!  Wooohoooo!!!

"It has a monster in it." --Dana Scully

To warm up, tonight I'm watching one of my favorite MOTW ep: "Squeeze"

I've been having to watch the delay streaming on Hulu, but it's better than not being able to watch at all.

Skinner's beard? It doesn't bother me too much, but I prefer him clean shaven. And Gillian Anderson could definitely put on some weight. She looks way too skinny.

There's something called FoxNOW maybe http://www.fox.com/fox-now
Doesn't look like streaming live:
"The latest current season episodes for all shows and full seasons for most shows (participating TV provider* subscription required), available the day after broadcast"

No TV at all?  I'm just doing Over The Air (OTA) Fox on TV.
I have an old TV but no converter box. I was depending on a co-worker to get me a box, but he can't come up with it until next week.

I can't seem to find the schedule for tonight's Netflix. And I know Hulu will have the show tomorrow. Credit card on hand, but where to go? If I could confirm that Netflix will stream it tonight...

Less than one hour to go. I'm freaking out  :'(  :'(  :'(
