A time traveller watching Star Trek?  Maybe to them it's a documentary?

Or it could be a genetically modified descendant of humans snatched by aliens thousands of years ago who was sent here to save us from ourselves, like Gary Seven.

Since '64?  How the heck did you get the first season two years before the rest of us?  Are you John Titor?

Ed Dames watched the entire series and all spin offs in 64.

Well then . . . thanks for the heads-up bigchucka!  ;)
And thank you MV for the heads-up on the heads-up!  ;)  ;D

One of those cases where I was reading my Yahoo homepage... and if I see something I'm interested in, I'll read it.  Figured I'd share it as well...

ST: TNG... DS9... Voyager... they're all on my "I've watched every episode at least once" list...

BTW, does anyone remember the sketch Patrick Stewart did on SNL many years ago in which he was the owner of an erotic bakery?  The catch was that his sole idea of erotic was "women going to the bathroom."
I've been a Trekkie of all of the Star Treks since the original which started in '64.  That's all I meant.   :D

We're not allowed to speak of this.  Prime Directive.  C'mon, you already know this stuff.  ;)

but the original Star Trek premiered on NBC in Sept 1966.
All you could watch for scifi in 1964 was the Outer Limits and The Twilight Zone before that...

Does an Aussie say G'day? Of course I've read it. It's my boyhood meets my adolescent dreams minus Alyssa Milano.

Lost in Space didn't come on until Sep 1965.
However in late 1964 you could watch Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.

My Favorite Martian must have been before 1964 too.

Correct, My Favorite Martian came out in Sep 1963, so you could watch that one in 1964 too.
From the same producer of that show in 1964-65 CBS also had another scifi comedy show called "My Living Doll" about a human looking robot named Rhoda played by lovely Julie Newmar. She had several spots on her back that could be pressed like control buttons.
You can watch some of the episodes of that rarely seen TV show now on Hulu.com

Not exactly TNG related, but close...

https://www.yahoo.com/tech/levar-burton-launches-kickstarter-campaign-to-revive-87119600809.html

I met Levar Burton at an event my company held at the Star Trek experience in Vegas.  I shook his hand and thanked him for Reading Rainbow because it was a show I enjoyed as a child.   He looked at me like "thanks for making me feel so old" but he said thank you.
