Sticking to whats known would have maybe moved this thread a few pages the last 2 weeks. What any of us really knows about all this mess is very little. I can speculate the most dull to the most wild of scenarios. Therein lies the fun. 

I enjoyed listening to Art Bell telling his life story. Anyone that hasn't heard the audio book The Art of Talk should check it out. Those are the things he tells on himself from his perspective. The audio book Art of Talk is in the Art Bell Ultimate Torrent, and can be downloaded by itself, without downloading the 60 plus gigabyte file. Ask Google how to using your torrent client.

John Titor was originally a poster on an internet forum.  I don't remember which one it was but I was on it at the time around the year 2000.

These kids are touting the inaccurate idea that he was a random Art Bell call that because Art was open minded enough to take the call then it allowed it to become a real phenomenon.

One thing I've been noticing throughout all this mourning of Art Bell is the amount of stuff people can't remember or are getting wrong.  It's really driving home the amount of time that's gone by.

For me it was just barely more than an instant and it all seems like last week.  I know I'm not the only one...

John Titor was originally a poster on an internet forum.  I don't remember which one it was but I was on it at the time around the year 2000.

I mentioned the IBM 5100 to a good friend who is into anime and computers.  He did not know what it was (and I did thanks to Titor.)  So, I looked it up and found that there was an award winning anime out with the IBM 5100 called "Steins Gate."

Long story short- it was the first anime I watched (and his 10,204th)   One of the best shows out there (they are doing a sequal now- and I don't know what it will be like.)  But the original was heavy on timelines, time travel, consequences and was one of the better shows that I have seen.

Anyhow, if anybody is interested, it is well worth the time to watch it.  Even more so with an intelligent friend so that you can discuss and speculate.
