R.I.P to the great man.

Frustrating and tetchy, but the most interesting thing on the airwaves since David Edward Hughes.

Now what?

It's not just Art who has his stalkers, though.  Chorch gets his fair share of stalkage, but he just mans up and gets on with producing the best show he can...

That's just how he (Pizza) rolls.

This would appear to be the right thread for this.

Slimy attourney offering very good advice, cop comes on later and cheerfully admits to deceiving suspects into confessing.  "I don't try to convict innocent people" he offers with a sickening degree of nanchalance.

Thanks for the synopsis. And I absolutely did not kick you.

Think of it more as a correction than a synopsis :)

I wonder who kicked me, though? Apologies if it wasn't you... you seemed quite cross, so I assumed it was you.

Anyway, water under the bridge. We can laugh about it now, even if at the time it was pretty stressful for everyone involved.

if you're going to post critiques in the chat during the live show, it would help if they went beyond "he's rambling" or whatever it was you were repeatedly saying.  i don't even know what to do with that type of criticism because it doesn't really say anything.  the only possible conclusion could be that you are deliberately attempting to get a response, which i guess you got.  well done, but let's not pretend i shouldn't find you to be something of a douche.

thanks for listening.

I think I said "You're rambling, Stop rambling", which I guess is technically (though barely) "repeatedly" saying it. I said it as a joke... but then you went off on a fairly angry rant about how much of a fuck you didn't care, before kicking me (a clear manifestation of not caring), so I didn't really have an opportunity to try calming you down by saying, "Hey, kidding".

And now you're calling me names, so clearly still not fully calmed down from your not giving a fuck outburst, so not taking your prior and current emotional state seriously is probably not the best idea.

I apologise for jokingly saying you were rambling, I realise we all have different emotional thresholds... this being a case in point.

I hope my dick pic found you well, though.

;D

Pretty short peace offering, but it just might work.  The XOXO is a nice touch.

Yeah, I'm just a nice person, basically.

It sounded like he was a bit stressed, what with all the enraged shouting and such, but before I could type, "Yo... dude... chill out, man." I'd been physically removed from the premises, so to speak, and found myself standing outside in the lobby going, "Hello? I think there's been some kind of mistake made... hello?"

Nothing says, "You may have overracted there" quite like a happy penis pic, though.

I think Miller's a potty-mouthed creep, but in this case I agree with him.  More liberals want her to go away than want her to be the nominee, but no one else of stature wants to make what would almost certainly a futile run.

Denis Miller is a pandering scumbag.

If I ever find myself agreeing with anything he has to say about anything at any time I will put a bullet in my own head.

Motherfucker.

I think MV was enraged, despite his claims that he didn't give a fuck.  The tirade, followed by the kicking, is what gave it away.

By way of a peace offering, I sent him a dick pic... unfortunately I have no idea how to use a fax machine and just ended up listening to the end of Gabcast through my printer. I didn't know you could do that.

Anyway, long story short, here's my peace offering dick pic.

See, it's smiling.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2988412/Top-Gear-s-Jeremy-Clarkson-suspended-BBC-fracas-producer.html

He panders to blue-collar workers whose interests are beer, birds, whippet racing, and casual racism.

He does it well, but isn't clever enough to properly couch his racism in terms that satisfy racists yet can't be actioned against, hence his current predicament.

And there were less people immolated in cages by peaceful Muslims or shot up in European businesses or stores etc but that spurred countless news also. The issue is the potential threat, especially if it mutated like Reston and became airborne or the "nastiness" of the incident (if it bleeds, it leads.) I think one of the main reasons the press stopped the stories is that it wasn't as hemorrhagic as other outbreaks so the less "bleeding from every orifice" type of pictures available. in those countries that already are in such shambles. (Now they are even worse off.) And, while it is fun to be cavalier about human lives to the family of the people who did die (whether at the hands of Muslims or by Ebola) there is not much comfort in the fact that "only" 10,000 died. And neither threat is not over....

Less than 10,000 Ebola victima, almost exclusively in a continent largely free of medicine or literacy.

And people were pissing their knickers, terrified that we'sa alla gunna die-sa!

That last part was in the style of Jar Jar Binks so that even the easily frightened fuckwits who were screaming PANDEMIC can have a bit of a laugh at their reaction now.

Congrats on spinning this into some shit about Muslims, though...

Obviously no-one. Aliens will invade now because of it. Damn that woman.

I no longer feel safe walking out my front door, knowing now what Hilary Clinton did with regards to EMails.

I told Mrs Kelt about it a couple of days ago... she thought I was lying at first, but then she read it online and she was all, "ZOMG! How could it come to THIS?!"

I did my best to calm her... she immediately started looking into flights out of the country, just in case this whole thing blows up.

Looking out into the street when the news broke, it was like the infamous "War of the Worlds" broadcast, where people were running around screaming, loading their station wagons and bugging out, and jamming the lines to the emergency services, terrified that aliens really were invading from Mars.

Hopefully the country can recover from the blow of... Hilary Clinton using the wrong EMail host... but I fear the nation has been dealt a more cruel blow than Pearl Harbor, 911, and the burning of Washington DC in 1814... combined.

THIS is where the entire energy of our political apparatus needs to focus, and for an extended period of hysteria, hyperbole, and faux outrage.

God save us.

God save us all.

Liberia quietly releases its last Ebola patient, and the apocalypse is over.

Global death toll... under 10,000.

Try not to get so hysterical next time.

I want to pay a premium for the connection I have now, while those who keep paying current prices get their connections throttled to the point that a 14k modem would be a better option.

Anything that keeps the poor away from the kinds of mass information that the internet offers.

Oh, and shut down the libraries and schools... can't have those poor fuckers learning anything if they're not paying for it.

I guess the logical conclusion of Capitalism is burning books to stop people learning shit they're not paying for over and over.

We at least agree on one thing - you're no psychologist

You inferred the wrong thing from that statement. To explain, there's clearly something wrong with you, mentally, and it doesn't take a psychologist to see it.  That clarified...

QuoteWould you mind being more specific about who it is that is narrow minded, insular, greedy, and vicious, who exactly needs to die, and how that should be accomplished?

Certainly...

Insular - The rise of nationalism around the globe. The surge in anti-ism, and the the increasing polarity between political beliefs. The progress being made by extremist groups, and the growth of national fronts in mainstream political areans.

Greedy - The Fascist (as defined by Mussolini) corporatising of governmental policy.

Vicious - As an extension of #1 and #2, warfare fought for the benefit of nationalist, corporate, and financial interest.

Who needs to die, and how is this accomplished - Usually tens of millions of innocent civilians, as a result of #3, brought about by #1 and #2.
