I too am very lazy and won't be looking it up, but I can't imagine a nuclear armed nation just letting one of their armies get nuked without some serious retaliation in kind, especially since that would've been during the Sino-Soviet split and the two had already had border conflicts.

What is odd is that Mr Trump, in his tweets, favours the Russia line over, say, the CIA and the rest of the American intelligence community.

Three men have egged along Trumputinism: Nigel Farage, who is clear that the European Union is a far bigger danger to world peace than Russia; his friend, Steve Bannon, who is now Mr Trump's chief strategist; and a Russian "penseur", Alexander Dugin.

You have to admit though NPR has been funny after the Trump victory and so many Republican wins. Some callers are depressed, some are angry, some are scared. The hosts talk in even more than normal hushed tones and have shows like "what will you do considering the Trump victory" and, now, finally, trying more hit pieces on him but are still shell-shocked and can't believe how out of touch they are with the average American who doesn't live in a few large cities and states (and consider that even om those leftist paradises Trump got lots of votes.)

Are these Bozo's not aware of what outrageous acts by extremists can result in.  The burning of the Reichstag building in 1933 (probably ordered by Hitler himself) triggered such outrage that Hitler was, with popular approval, able to consolidate power by dissolving the Reichstag and declaring himself the sole ruler of Germany.  This led to the declaration of what amounts martial law and virtual outlawing of the communist party and that was just for starters as we all know.

I'm not comparing Trump with Hitler or the Burning of the Reichststag with the disruptions that are apparently planned.  However, if people should be injured or killed in a panicked stampede caused by their setting off sprinkler systems or stink bombs or some other act of mischief you can bet that the left will be held responsible to include the politicians, news persons and celebs that have encouraged such behavior through their virulent rhetoric.  If they wanted to set the stage for enactment of draconian measures they couldn't pick a better way.  In any event, if there is any serious disruption of inaugural ceremonies or celebrations the left better stand by for heavy rolls.

Aw, c'mon, it's their Constitutional Right to riot, burn, loot, flip cars over, set up barricades, block roads and bridges, threaten and assault the crowd, attack police, shout people down who are trying to deliver their speeches - so long as it's under the ''Progressive'' banner.  They come in peace, of course, but become so overwhelmed by injustice it somehow gets the best of them.
