They're already in the stone age.  Nuking wouldn't make much of a difference.

Actually it might have given the Nationalist Party an opportunity to invade the mainland.

I always went for the cheapest price ticket I could find.  A couple years ago I decided to be loyal to one airline.  I earned and flew as many miles I could to try and get a free ticket.  I now have enough miles to fly pretty much anywhere in the world.  Now my problem is finding the time, and being able to plan far enough ahead to book my award ticket.  Damn, I don't want to use my miles on anything domestic either.

When I went to the Philippines I flew EVA air, one of the Taiwanese carriers.  I have had good experience with them and their competitor, China Airlines, which I flew to Indonesia.  I really rather enjoy flying Asian carriers.

they aren't.  go back and watch some.  people grilled him in a way that no US President has ever been.  i'm thinking of a town hall event in Indiana where people really put it to him.

I think you mean this:

Woman at Town Hall Meeting Tired of Defending President Obama

Oh come now,  how do you know a president has never been grilled like Obama has been?

That's odd, I can't imagine any reason why muslims would have anything against Americans...

Hmm I have met several Muslims that don't have anything against me as an American, but they sure don't like my government's policies.

Oh yeah, Japan for sure!!  What an amazing country.

QuoteLike above me, If I only had more money to stay longer, like a year.. 8)   Im planning to go back to the Phillipines for three months at the end of December  :)
Wow!  Three months,  sounds like trouble   :P

Does anyone have a preference for which airlines they fly on their international flights, or do you go for the lowest price possible when buying a ticket?  Could be a combination as well.

I have been to United Kingdom, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Laos, and China.

I would really like to go back to China.  Also, Burma would be very interesting to travel around.  Also on my list is India, Ethiopia, Cambodia, and Bulgaria.

I really love traveling.  I wish I had more time and money.

Archive of Old Threads / Burning a Quran
September 09, 2010, 04:37:03 PM
So, the Quran will not be burned after all.   It amazes me that all you have to do is threaten to do this act and the President comes down on you, the Secretary of State comes down on you, and generals come down on you.

I read this today from AP:  "Elsewhere, hundreds of angry Afghans burned an American flag and chanted "Death to the Christians" to protest the planned burning of Islam's holiest text."
Will my government officials condemn acts of hatred such as this?  A silly question I know.  Perhaps, someday, Christians will enjoy the same ride of political correctness.   Yeah, where were you Hillary when they exhibited "Piss Christ"?
One other thing comes to mind.  Why are all these American officials complaining that burning a Quran will put our troops into harms way? It seems to be our government has done a good job of that already.  More clearly, they are in a theater of war after all.

I only know of Red Ice creations and Rense, but found the second to have lost much of its potential since its prime in late 90's-2000
and don't listen anymore(plus the dude's hair is way too weird). What's this other forum site Fantastic Forums, is this the one Art used
to talk about? Any affiliation with this one? I was going to join, but noticed same person posting most posts? Was wondering if as active
as this one. alex jones sux, but beck more so. That rally was a farce and patriotic propaganda ... as someone in Iraq gets their leg blown
off by another IED.

  Well, tell Obama about it.

Jack Horkheimer, 1938 â€" 2010

The Stargazer.  I always loved his short little 5 minute astronomy shows on late night TV.
I didn't even know he was still doing them...

I found what I think is a good replacement for the Snooron.  For the last while I have been listening to Doug McIntyre's Red Eye Radio.  The show features open lines and occasional guests.

I love REAL open lines, not the same four plants every week asking Noory questions he can get on his half-assed soapbox about.

Or the folks that just have to call up and let the whole country know about their latest UFO experience.

agreed.  while i don't like art's whole chicken little approach to global warming/climate change etc., it hasn't affected my appreciation of his broadcast mastery.  however, i just can't take any more shows on the topic.  enough is enough.  i didn't bother tuning in when he filled in last night.

It was great to hear Art back on, but if you missed it you didn't miss much.  The global warming thing has been beaten to death.  I wish he would have done a different topic.

Art's politics sure do seem confused the last few years.  Art voted for Obama this last go around.  This from a man who has traditionally been more of a conservative libertarian.  The whole global warming/major weather changes topic seems to have brought him closer to the Democratic Party.

The last several weeks of Punnett's shows have been top notch.  I really enjoyed the sports fixing show.
