Veneto (region surrounding and including Venice) and Lombardy are voting in referendums for greater autonomy today. They're two of the richest parts of Italy, and the votes are legal nonbinding referendums on increasing their autonomy.
Venice was an independent nation (697-1797) and has an active nationalist/secession movement, so this might be only the beginning.
