And yet here we are still talking about it.  Art posting pics laying in a hospital bed. The zombie show churning on with a once lively BG thread now a complete ghost town. Art's thread now a political thread. Many interesting and witty posters no longer on BG. Is it just me or is the thrill kinda gone folks?

That could have made the program more diverse and kept people tuning in, instead it's just another stale paranormal show with a very bland, uninspiring host.

I suggested this as did many others. But the sense I get is the network/Keith is too difficult or poorly conducted for most to work with. There's also a sense of "it's staying afloat as-is so why bother?". There seems to be little incentive to improve.

Ah the joys of aging. Similar story for me. But some sauces are truly dangerous no matter who you are. Firehouse Subs had a little bottle of some stuff with a skull and crossbones on it. Granted, there were warnings on the bottle. But literally two drops and my mouth was so on fire that it took two soda refills to quench. At that point it isn't flavor, just pain!

The whole fiasco with Art's leaving has sort of burned me out on the genre I think. I gave Heather a shot but really can't stand her. Art had a certain way of approaching the subject, a kind of skepticism and distance and also curiosity, that drew me in. I just don't see that anywhere else. And he was of course very talented. I know there are a few shows I haven't tried yet but I'm kind of moving into "don't care" mode now. I check in at BellGab once in awhile to see if he's doing any interviews or filling in on MITD but that's it. I have given up trying to understand his odd departure and all the circumstances of his replacement. Would just like to hear a few new shows of his now and then.

I haven't tried to follow him. But a few people have posted over the months that they were un-friended for comments that were critical of Heather Wade or MITD (and their comments deleted).

Contact in the Desert sounded like an awesome party. I wish there had been more about the wild goings on in those tents, lol (I haven't heard the last 5-10 minutes of your show yet so maybe there was more). Meeting Norry sounded fun and it will be a really great way to promote your show if you can do an interview with him and if he could give you guys a shout out somehow. I feel like that's the biggest barrier you have for growth is just getting the word out that you exist! I really think your popularity would grow if more people knew about you. And you need a metric of some sort to track listenership.

I'm glad you're not hanging it up though and maybe the show will gain some momentum after your Contact event.

Do you guys have a Facebook group yet? If not, I think that would also be a good promotional tool. And you could post pics from Contact there as well.

Great interview with Amy. Her show and yours are my two favorites right now. I think she also needs to find a way to get the word out.
