Art - Thanks for your input on the matter. I'm sure this all has not been what you expected on the week(s) before your new show. I support you 110 percent in anything you do and wish you nothing but the best. I'll be subscribing to Sirius next Monday afternoon as a "vote" for you and here's the text of the email I sent about an hour ago to Premiere...

As a LONG time subscriber and listener to Coast to Coast it pains me to write this but I will be cancelling my subscription to C2C Insiders on Sept. 15.
I had planned on continuing listening to both C2C and Art's new show on Sirius... but the recent show with Oates sealed the deal for me.

Apparently there is severe bad will toward Art Bell *whom I dearly love* and your current inherited host George Noory. That is truly unfortunate due to the fact that Art built the program in the '90s ... as I'm sure you are fully aware. I cannot fathom how Noory would have such a guest as Oates on C2C after the well documented situation with Art. Noory is evidently not acting within good sense nor reason at this juncture.

Also -- Noory's hosting skills have steadily gone downhill since inheriting the show from Art .. and despite some early promise he has degenerated into a .. well, quite frankly - a blithering idiot of a host. He is rarely connected with his guests and seems WAY tooooo often to be distracted by ... maybe checking emails or facebook or something other than competently INTERVIEWING his guests.

Again.. it REALLY pains me to do so .. but I will be cancelling my Streamlink/Coast Insiders memebership on the 15th. Maybe Premiere can give the show to someone more deserving of Art's legacy .. maybe Knapp if he doesn't bail from the sinking ship??

It is conceivable the Oates thing started out as simply a really bad idea.  With very suspicious timing.  Then the world's dumbest talk show host refused to listen when someone on his staff laid it out for him, explained it, told him not to do it - and he did it anyway. 

At that point George can no longer claim innocence.  With his refusal to re-examine and apologize - then sending out Twats and posting a bunch of BS here, it gets harder to make a case for mere bad judgment.  Then there's that timing again...

I don't think noory is a "good" guy. But i do believe he is so narcissistic he has no ability to see himself otherwise. Very few people will make dramatically false statements without quite a bit of self delusion. Add to that he is an imbecilic oaf and we have c2c as it is now.

I'll never understand why people want the asswipe to post here.  It was bad enough when he started posting here in August, but how anyone could stand being in the same cyberspace with Dave Noorie after all of this, let alone invite him?  I don't get it.  One of the best things that could happen for BellGab is for Dave Noorie to never darken its door again, in my humble opinion.  And to stop with the logging in just to let  everyone know he's watching us.  His first avatar was the right one. 

Art quit logging in here the same day George started posting here.  I'm sure George enjoys knowing that too.

Much better stated by both of you than I could have done, Paper*Boy and Onan. You've summed up very nicely what exists in Noory's World.  He couldn't say and do the things he says and does but for the bizarre difference in his reality and that of most of us.
