I have a Public life and a more private one, in my private one I use such words very sparingly. In my Public life I don't use them at all, and in either case not around Children and until that rather recent post I had thought Children were not here...my bad.

I must say the level of most talk here gives me hope that although most higher IQ types have abandoned Dave, they are still around on here.

BTW Pam (Lisa) were you just free thinking or wishing and hoping?

They are also getting ready to hit Radio stations with really big fee's for music, so that will add to the speed of their demise.

Assuming 100% efficiency (an optimistic figure) for a PDM solid state transmitter, that's watts in watts out. 10KW is a big bill for a small tx. Agree, it is already starting, as the numbers shrink the smaller markets will go first, simply not worth the power bill. Even the large 50K stations. One big indicator is stock prices of the big guys, dropping like a rock.

I went to a Talkers Convention Years ago with the President of Clear Channel and the President of Premiere were there and gave pretty much the same speech but  added that I wonder where the next Rush or Art would come from because all the time slots in all the markets were occupied by us, so how does new talent emerge? I never got invited back.

It is not mostly Dave, you nailed it, Lisa and Tommy. Lisa is really a smart cookie and has propped up Dave for good reason, her job. Dave as I have said, is what he is. If you can't get good you have to go with what you got.

Well it's hard to argue with Zombies, but short of that the handwriting is on the wall. Don't get me wrong I loved and still love radio to death but if you can lie in bed and listen to me or anybody else with your smart phone or tablet from here to Australia it's almost over.

It is just desperation. Iheart and other big fat Broadcasters that went out and payed insane prices for mostly AM stations all across America now are faced with the fact that almost nobody listens anymore and their day is almost done and now most are worth pennies on the Dollar. I saw this coming a long time ago. They are playing a juggle game with debt that is about to crush them.

Now ANY real talent can go to the Internet Worldwide and if people want to hear them they do not need 500 Radio stations to be heard, oh what is a Broadcaster to do? They see it on the way like a high velocity round coming for your eyes.

In the long run it will be a good thing for the consumer (you) because you will not be stuck with one choice in any given time slot Nationwide.

As LTE deploys pretty soon a Radio will be something you go see in a museum like the first Airplane.

The people who fear what is coming because of the jobs they will lose are demonstrating that fear here, right Lisa?

Point is I know the words but those who use them all the time I think can not form a better way to express themselves.

As far as the show is concerned I have listeners from 8-80 Years old, why would I want to drive some of them away? As a Parent when I hear gutter language I turn it off, my guess is most decent Parents do.

Beyond that, I don't listen myself to radio shows where every fifth word is the f bomb. I think most times the kind of content I like would be spoiled with that language, it has shock value the first couple of times and after that is just hard to listen to.

There is room for both Dave and myself and others as well. For the most part I WANT Dave to keep the listener's and callers he has now. I have heard his open lines, I don't want that. A smart show brings smart callers, we had that and given time we will again. If the show is not as big I am good with that, quality not just quantity.

Well we have a Condo in Manila and I guess we have to deal with that and put it in the hands of a broker.

I only dislike Dave for the nasty stuff he has done to me, in reality he is just what he is. Early on they decided he can't handle open lines or technical subjects so they simply stopped them.

The unexpected is what I miss most.

I hope we can make the July date but it could slip because we are waiting for the final paperwork and I do not want to order all this stuff and start building till we have it signed. I have a Wife who wants a trip to the Philippines before I go on air so time is a issue. Phone lines, T1 and a lot more. I guess we have no hard deadline but I am not a patient person.

One thing to note, most All the good story shows came from open lines. Dave really can't handle open lines and when he takes them it is obvious how far the IQ of those listening has fallen based on what they are being served up. I will get the smarter people back but it will take time serving up something worth listening to

Most of the stuff like Mel's hole were my favs and it looks like most of you but they took lots of heat. The stuff u don't like is what I do not like as well, Alex Jones and stuff so we are on the same page, I hear you loud and clear

Ok, I sure do get the picture, funny thing though and I am not at all surprised many of your favs were also those shows that took the most heat. But I get it.
