As the son of a Tin Can sailor who was at Okinawa, I am really looking forward to this movie.

Hey, even they didn't mess around with garage door high-tension springs. "Geez," as Norry might say, I never mess with them. Good job sir. Especially because idiots and sadists strike that. Relying on youtube for potentially dangerous things is not good. So Good Job! You found the right vid.  :-\ :D

Oh it was kind of scary dicking with that torsion spring.  The Old Man had it a little worse

I know. Not my old man but a relative of his/me. Crazy stuff. I forget the details of which ship but ended up living a good life, having kids (though one retarded,) and drinking/smoking too much. Still resentful of the Japs, but not crazy or militant, etc. Sometimes would laugh about being attacked by us (we didn't know.) Just 'went back to work' needed oxygen tanks and had a limp I recall, years later. Yes, people still smoked back then and needed oxygen. Nutso.

I'm a Bernie Goetz type. Not a Robert Reich type!! The Third Reich was preferable to that midget schmuck Robert Reich. I spit on his parent's defective genes!

LONDON (The Borowitz Report)â€"In an unexpected televised address on Saturday, Queen Elizabeth II offered to restore British rule over the United States of America.

Addressing the American people from her office in Buckingham Palace, the Queen said that she was making the offer “in recognition of the desperate situation you now find yourselves in.”

"This two-hundred-and-forty-year experiment in self-rule began with the best of intentions, but I think we can all agree that it didn't end well," she said.

The Queen urged Americans to write in her name on Election Day, after which the transition to British rule could begin “with a minimum of bother.”

;D

Just switched over from hockey during a commercial to ESPNs and see some weird sport being broadcast on ESPN-2. "Spikeball?" I never have heard of this thing but broadcasted in prime-time on an ESPN channel? Back to hockey.

So the offer by the Calif DMV was turned down?

"...women...who have... seen their bodies changed by pregnancy and childbirth, desperate women who have spent too muchmoney, time and effort on plastic surgery, makeup, diets, compulsive exercise….all in hopes of looking younger and keeping a great man just like you.

And men who have thrown away terrific women and families because they thought an answer to life’s problems lay in a younger woman."

Absolutely. Turned to my ceiling into glue thinking about her as a randy young lad.

Fav flavor?

Right now it's the dual mix of sharp cheddar and parmesan.  (Not listed in the graphic)  I liked the swiss ones though.  I think they had muenster at one time too.
Anyway...I'm not a big snack guy but I bought some a few days ago and I can't stop.  Previous to that it was a few years since I had any.

Nothing says I Love You, Mom more than getting her the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy for Mother's Day.  On sale on their Mother's Day feature film endcap at your local Wal-Mart.  Not kidding.

Mom, would you also like some whips and chains with that?

As I read this, my mind automatically created a Hallmark commercial.  Yuck.   ;D

Seriously, what the heck?  Valentine's Day ok but Mother's Day?  One of the buyers has to be a pervert.

I wonder what they'll be pushing for Father's Day.
