Oh no! Puddin' doesn't like me!  Time to draw that hot bath, pour the red wine, suck down a fist full of seconals and slit my wrists. ;D

Well, heck.  Please hurry on the wrist slitting.  Or maybe, dear heart, you will drown with your drugs.  Oh well, maybe not.  You probably aren't that easy to be rid of.  I suppose you will still be around with your trash mouth.  You certainly are a fine recommendation for the Art Bell show!  We are all so very proud to have you with us!
....to be continued some other time.  I have a lot better stuff to do now....Bye!

Oh ho ho, cweb, you are hysterically amusing with your stupid cartoons.  So funny!  More proof that you need to get a life, some education, and some decency lessons.  Did you have a mother or were raised on skid row under a bridge?  What a waste you are to civilization!  And my disappointment with Art Bell's trash talk remains.

I got what you meant, bubba.  And so did all the other non-meatbags in this thread. ;)  LoL

And you too, Paladin.  I guess you are another gutter mouth.  Sorry for you, too, another dumb poor baby.

No, I wasn't joking.  Filth is filth, period, end of report.  If you think it is funny, then you REALLY do need to get a life of some kind.  I am still sorry for you, Babe.  Too bad you can't grow up.

This made my morning.  ;D

cweb, if my post "made your morning", I am sorry for you.  You must not have any sort of life!  Poor baby.

I have been impressed with Art Bell since 1995.  After 20 years, it is tough to see him turn tail and plop himself into complete filth.  If you enjoy that sort of stuff, I am sorry for you, too.  What a sad outcome for you.

Well, I am probably the only one, but I am ashamed of Art.  He has always been on a pedestal for me, but he seems to be falling into the gutter.  My heart is broken.   :-[  Oh well, there is always Netflix.

Yup, I agree.  Some of these old shows were apcray and some of the guests are dead.  So where are some ideas for new stuff?

I vote for Linda M.H.  She always delivers--perfectly.

Ever since I was a teenager all the way through now, I have always believed overuse of cuss words was exhausting and pointless. I don't even appreciate comedy that does it.. But there's times and places for it.
however, I was always fine with Art's rules on this.

Agree with you 100%.  Who needs dirt when there is a world of wonderful vocabulary available?

How about:

Oasis (with Art Bell)

Dictionary definition:  something serving as a refuge, relief, or pleasant change from what is usual, annoying, difficult, etc.

Let me add a bit of context to my comment. I have never been a LMH fan. She was always a bit too radical for me. Also, I heard these shows about 10 years after the fact and I don't feel they hold up as well as coast did. Again, this is just my opinion. -PandaBearBitch

There was a long time that I didn't care for Linda.  It sounded to me like she was READING her reports.  I finally figured out that is just the way she speaks. It is certainly precise and she does her homework better than anyone else we've ever heard on the radio. I am always eager to hear her on the once-a-month that Snoory allows.  Radical, no.  Outspoken, truthful and experienced with much study and investigation, yes!

Dreamland was wonderful in Art's inimitable fabulous style.  Whitley sucks.  Whitley thinks he has to assume some kind of "awesome" tone of voice which ruins the whole thing for me going in.  Why does he do that?  It is so unnecessary and would gag a maggot.  I call it his "sepulcher" voice. What a phony act he puts on!   Stupid and amateurish!  Cheesh!  There is no question here.  Dreamland was just as great as C2C before Whitley got his stupid ridiculous paws on that formerly excellent show.  The only thing Whitley has ever got going for him is Linda Moulton Howe.  Why does she do it?  I don't think it enriches her in any way--not even publicity. How big can that particular audience be?

Well, hell.  It was a long time ago.  A name?

I was mostly raised by my gram, born in 1895.  She always said, "What's your name?"  The response was, "puddintame, ask me again and I'll tell you the same!"  That was all I could think of when I needed a name!  I don't have anything better, anyhow, to date!  So be it I guess.

Well... at least there's one thing we can all agree upon ... George Noory SUCKS extra-large shitcovered donkey balls.

MV, wouldn't it be cool if this forum went national, or even multi-national?  Could we handle it with our servers, etc.?  I don't know much about that part of it.  Of course, we'd have to clean up our act somewhat.  No more--um--donkey balls, etc.  That is really just too crude, or am I the only one who thinks that?  Yup, it is totally agreed that Gnorry sucks.  He can't even pronounce "program" or, God forgive, he still says "noock-you-ler"!  Anyhow, I love ya all no matter.  Just want Art and us to be on top of the world in all respects.

I have been a C2C fan since 1995!  (Yikes, that is 20 years--I must have started when I was a little kid?  LOL)  Anyhow, I don't care what substitute hosts he lines up.  That can be worked on later.  I am hoping and praying that his first guests ARE NOT RCH nor Whitley nor Maj. Dames!  RCH has been done to death (almost mine!).  Whitley does Dreamland and uses his super silly "mysterious" tone of voice which upsets my tummy.  I call it his "Sepulcher Voice".  When he speaks like a regular person he is OK (but please, God, not for Art's first show!)  Of course the "Major" sucks and is a phony and I hope to never hear him or his name ever again.  He checked out the Devil?  Yeah, right.  Give me a break donchaknow?  Pah!

Please, Art, you don't need to be sensational.  Just be you, Art, and give us something kinda fresh and new! You have superb taste in music.  Can't wait to hear some!

I agree, phrodo.  That is good stuff.  I have always wished (since 1995), just my two cents' worth, that neither Art nor the announcer would talk when any music is playing.   My poor brain wants to listen to one or the other.  ::)

I forgot to add:  As for "closing music", there can never be anything at the close of Art's show but Crystal Gayle with "Midnight in the Desert"!!

More I hear it . the more I like it. kinda snappy and upbeat - maybe a bit too upbeat .. but do think the movement starting at about the 1:23 mark might work best for Art.

My (perhaps too subtly worded) question was that if the Noory camp wished to convey a spirit of good will toward Art, why wouldn't they fulfill his previous requests to stop thanking him at the end of every show and stop associating his name with that C2C has become.

Art WAS Coast back when it was something special. Now it is not because the Coast product has declined under Noory + Premiere's watch.

Last night at the end of the show (going on 3 a.m. my time) when Noory does his thanks or whatever he is doing, he mentioned a couple of names that I've never heard before and did leave Art's name out!

Apparently I didn't explain very well. I meant what I think you are saying MV, just one place for all of the shows.  I meant one single "thread" or place where all of the shows would be, one right after the other, and not all over the place.

OK, it is a dopey-looking little school uniform.
