Bast is actually an Egyptian goddess with the head of a cat.

I think she's called Bastet.

Ancient Egyptians revered cats.

...even if he hasnt learned to turn his Hoagie Hotline phone ringer off before the start of each show.

That's part of his show though. As much of a calling card as BRAAPS are.

Andulshia? Has Leo not heard of Andalucia in Spain before? I swear George Noory has nothing on him. Damn, if I were delivering news every night, I might want to learn to pronounce things, especially names that I was not familiar with. Geez!

KALI

my cats just cry for food and sleep.

the only special power they have is waking me up at 5 to be let out.

witches rituals/spells can be thought  like christian prayers and rituals

Al Stewart & Supertramp (maybe Thomas Dolby too) give me such a melancholy vibe though the music is so poppy.

Loving the first 39 minutes (even disconnections)...

Smartest callers in media.

Art's threatening to have the guest put impotency hexes on listeners that misbehave. That's new.
Yeah.  I was driving home, listening happily to the start of the show when I heard Art say: "If you use a bad word we'll put a spell on you and you won't be able to reproduce...or even practice."  Damn, skippy, that ought to work.  ;D

It was good to hear Art have a little fun.  He's been rather serious lately.

Well, how do we know there isn't a silo right in the area of that ring?  And secondly, it is close to the ground.

So yeah, it's probably a smoke ring from a missile launch.  Occam's razor   ;)

Kazakhstan does have the Baikonur Cosmodrome, but would not be testing ballistic missiles. I think it's even more mundane than a missile launch, apparently smoke rings like this can be produced by factory smoke stacks.

I love how Art can bring in a caller to the conversation and run with it.  How many times does a guest on another show want to ask a question of a caller only to find that "they hung up..."
