Remember, the babysitter is IN CHARGE.
remember, the babysitter GETS PAID.  problem is, we're stuck writing the check and with it comes no expectation of responsibility on the part of the vacationing child nations/cultures.  thus, the rest of the world can go on about its business pretending that the only problem the planet faces is the united states.  meanwhile, we get to spend our time going deeper into debt dealing with the real problems humanity faces.  why bother.  unappreciative cunts.

evelyn, you have a tendency to first turn inward in the process of explaining the poor behavior of people around the world.  it isn't always necessary or reasonable.  JUST ONCE i'd like to hear you say, "yeah, that's fucked up."  i could have penned your response to my earlier statement myself.  however, maybe you'd say the same about me.

some behavior is just god damned inexcusable, whatever the sob story that did or didn't lead to it:

I've never heard George utter an unoriginal thought.  On the contrary, I've come to see him as one of the premiere thinkers of our time; a standard by which wielders of the spoken word and forgers of ideas can measure themselves.

A man among men.

Hmmmm . . . Most of the liberal types I know are rather fond of our Constitution, freedom of speech in particular.
like the ones who support the fairness doctrine just because they don't ideologically own every facet of the broadcast industry?  leftists seem, from what i've experienced and observed in my life, only to support free speech if they agree with what's being said and the words aren't "offensive."  however, when it comes to human rights and freedom, etc... they do talk a good game.

The following is a list of documented George Noory  quotes. Known as "Nooryisms"... these non sequitur quips and  half-witted, meandering ramblings serve only to exacerbate my feelings  of disappointment over what has happened since Noory took over Coast to  Coast AM. If you happen to know of others and you can document when  they occurred, please post them in a reply to this topic.

"Could it be a portal?"

***********

"I don't think there's any doubt."

***********

George Noory: "Dr. Leir's website is www.alienscalpel.com. Ooh, that's scary sounding. Alien scalpel."

Dr. Roger Leir: "Well, you know me George, I don't try to scare people."

George Noory: "Yeah, with those fang teeth of yours?"
July 6, 2007.

It's like the hype that surrounded Y2K. Unfortunately, Art bought and sold that hype (Bell is imperfect too).
the response to that statement usually is to say that there were "billions of dollars spent" preparing for y2k... hence nothing happening.  i wonder how much truth there is in that.

Why isn't this place busier, MV? Maybe you just answered your own question. At least in my case, the reason why I haven't checked in for several weeks and never will again is that your site is so populated with rightwing wackos who would say something like this (you included). If I want this sort of fringe, teabagger nutcase crap, I'll look at the Fox "News" website. This sort of shit turns me off and no doubt any other intelligent, progressive like me who might be interested in a forum related to C2C and C2C-related topics.

Don't bother posting a reply telling me that I'm a communist, bolshevik, Nazi, socialist, free radical, unpatriotic, liberal leftist shill asshole because I won't see it. I'm deleting my link to this site. It bores and disgusts me, and I won't be back. If I cared enough, I'd figure out how to cancel my account, but I don't care, so feel free to do it for me.
fine.  go find a site where you can entirely surround yourself with people who think exactly as you do.  how exciting.  that's the easy and cowardly thing to do.  you are weak, uninteresting, and predictable.

and by the way... if you have to use the word "intelligent" in describing yourself, chances are you're not.

Maybe I could practice up on sounding breathy and sultry and call in and flatter Georgie 'till his toes curled and take his attention away from the "guest"?   Help me on this....especially to get my call past the screener....

Or maybe not.  I'm willing, but I'm new at this. What other way could I contribute?
what we're really looking to do is to develop a phony guest to appear on the show rather than just make a quick drive-by call.

This idea is awesome. For the love of god, please pm me when you get through the screening and let me know when you are going to appear.
we need to get more people involved in this idea if it's going to take off.  i think it's lost steam.

btw, slipstream... make sure you upgrade your roku to the new firmware.  it allows you to add movies to your instant queue via the player rather than having to do so from a computer.  also, the new interface is snappier and flashier.  a 100% improvement.  if it tells you no firmware update is available, try again and it should allow you to finally snatch the new FW.

I am not happy with Western Digital.  Out of the blue they release a new media player called 'WD TV Live Plus'.  What is the Plus all about?  Netflix.   Having bought my WD TV Live just before the end of last year. I think I should get some kind of consideration for a Plus, a discount perhaps.  So, instead of punting out another $120 dollars to Western Digital I went ahead and bought a Roku for $99.
TV Live Plus??? WHA WHA WHAT????!!!??? that makes NO sense considering the currently available TV Live is ENTIRELY capable of streaming netflix.  this is bullshit.

Wow, you sure nailed it, spot on.  I don't listed to snoory so I don't know who he shout-outs to.  I do know he won't shout-out to The Fantastic Forum.  I remember when he posted his "threat to sue" The FF simply because some of the members were posting the obvious.

What a dweeb.  George Noory Sucks and so does his Nightsuck Zone!

as i recall, the "lie" said about snoors at the FF was that his scifi TV show was going to be self financed.  this supposed untruth was enough to get snoors to threaten a lawsuit.  either he knows nothing about libel/slander/defamation laws and/or standards, or he thought the people running the FF were dumb enough to feel intimidated by him.

noory needs to learn that a message board is a PUBLIC forum and thus will host a number of varying ideologies, thoughts, and opinions... some of which aren't congruent with his views (or anybody else's).  kind of funny (or sad) to watch free speech threatened by someone who makes his living as a result of the freedoms affirmed by the first amendment.

and by the way... i think the way to future-proof ourselves from situations like this is to stop pushing oil companies to drill miles offshore in 5000+ feet of water.  there is plenty of oil to be drilled on land and/or shallow waters.  it's just a matter of getting around the environmental alarmists who have no grasp of reality (like the fraudulent al gore).

i saw a report yesterday that the "dispersant" solution that they're dumping onto the surface of the gulf is merely causing the chemical composition of the spill to break down into smaller droplets, which subsequently results in the oil going into solution with the water rather than float on top of it.  baaaad news.

I tend to think they're almost psychic punches in time. For instance in a hectic or traumatic moment in someone's life, they're going to have a profound psychological and spiritual (I hate to use that word) occurrence. I think some instances those can some how loop or replay for some reason. For instance in my youth, we would go to an abandoned insane asylum quite often and hear metals close, loud banging, old radio broadcasts, and other things that seem indicative of another time period. Although this theory doesn't account for a lot of what the GIS picks up, but some stuff does seem like that. I think there's many types of activity that we would associate as ghosts though. Anyway that's my two cents.
where is the asylum you investigated?
