Yeah I couldn't make up my mind whether I loved or hated the acoustic, or whether it had been tampered with, but current feeling is it's legit, that's the effect they wanted, and the room is the most important instrument there.  I think the third movement is the loveliest thing he ever wrote you think it's gonna end but it just keeps going and going until aaaaauagh the ache
