The San Jose Mercury-News reports that the storm is technically “a rapidly deepening extratropical cyclonic low-pressure area.” ...” and is also being called a “bombogenesis” or “weather bomb.”

In other words, the wind was howling and it rained cats and dogs. The worst seems to be over now

California hit by 'bombogenesis', biggest storm in years, kills 4 already.  2.17.17.

This Arizona homey is extremely tired of rain. But I've got a full cord of firewood, smokes, and a lighter- so I guess I'm good. Thanks for asking Starr.
