The post from Keith absolutely sickens me. What was the plan/undermining? Was the announcement to be so spectacular that HW & KR would use it to boost & promote MITD? In order for his fans, friends, foes to find out any information on Art’s passing would we have to go through MITD? Of course we would.

A big Thank You to Nye County Sheriffs department for saving us from the torturous task of listening to HW bring us this sad news.  I do believe a GabCast is in order, we need to have a final farewell, A BellGab Memorial.

A big YES to this post. It reminds me of when my phone rang on 12/09/80 and it was my crying sister telling me the terrible news of John Lennon's death. Moments later Howard Cosell told the world on Monday Night Football. I have been forever grateful I got the call from my sister and did not hear it from Cosell. I got a tweet from GravitySucks and that was fitting as well. RIP dear Art. I love you.

So very sad to hear this. Art Bell was such a big part of my life since the early 90s. After the last goodbye of many, I checked out. But the original Art Bell shows were such great radio I will always be grateful for the memories. I hope there is a Gabcast tonight. There really should be. When I heard the news, I cried.

While we can not ever count on AB, BellGab always delivers. I think he is done. I kind of hope so. I cant take another 20 years of the jackin' around. I think MITD was fantastic. AND, as the 8 times before, if he did a new show, I would listen. But right now, I am really upset he pulled this again. I can't believe it. Which is insane that I expected something different.
