I thought aliens were suppose to be highly advanced and smart...why do the crash all the time?
Quote from: TheMan WhoFell ToEarth on June 12, 2015, 08:16:45 AMYes, I remember when Art was talking about seeing it in Paris and how cool it was.
I hadn't thought about them for a long time. Heard an old show a few months back where Art talks about getting that one and mentions it was $100+. I've kind of always wanted one.
Quote from: jazmunda on June 12, 2015, 12:39:40 AMI always think Art when I hear this.
Damn music licensing. I so want to use this is my next trailer.

Quote from: starrmtn001 on June 11, 2015, 06:28:46 PMIt just showed-up at my door one night, saying how much it loved Dave. It's had to pay ever since.
Dave voodoo doll? Did you buy it, or make it yourself? Where can I get one?
Quote from: starrmtn001 on June 11, 2015, 06:21:57 PMOK, OK. I'll dismantle my Art Bell shrine and stop with the chupacabra sacrifices. I refuse to give up my Dave voodoo doll, though.
I don't worship you. I do honor and respect you Art. Quite a difference.
Quote from: PathoJen on June 11, 2015, 06:15:42 PMMV should be finished with the lawn work by showtime. I'm sure he won't mind adding it to the list.
The new shows will be much shorter than the shows you did years ago., so that will likely be easier on your back.
I bet 100 bell gabbers would be crawling all over each other to volunteer to walk on your back during the commercial breaks.
Quote from: FightTheFuture on February 19, 2015, 11:21:34 AMMy piece of crap Keurig finally died. I was never completely happy with what it brewed and I didn't use those blasted K cups, just the mesh cup with my own coffee.
I have a Keurig at my office for convenience. It makes a fair cup of coffee. At home, I grind my beans and use a French press, which, in my opinion, produces the best cup of coffee.

Where is MV? must be mowing that lawn!
Quote from: coaster on June 11, 2015, 04:05:27 PMDid you copy Jaz's or lawn-boy MV's?
I have a copy of his house key. shhh...
Quote from: paladin1991 on June 11, 2015, 03:14:51 PMYes. I'm not much younger, Art. I hear you. Do what you can, but most importantly, do what you like.
Just do what you do, bro.

Evan Solomon fired from CBC after allegations he used his position to sell art
I saw this headline on my homepage this morning. Now, what is the difference between that and Norry using his position to sell supplements and dating subscriptions?
Quote from: paladin1991 on June 11, 2015, 08:51:33 AMI love New Mexico. I used to get to Albuquerque on occasion and always enjoyed it. Of course, Santa Fe is very nice but just a little on the weird side and quite pricey.
I've always had this romantic mindset where it comes to NewMex. Maybe it's all the Westerns I used to watch as a child.

Yep, they got his SAG residual payment check amount correct for the 29 cents of talent he is worth.

Quote from: PathoJen on June 10, 2015, 08:15:08 PMSounds fair. I wonder which avatar is showing up at Art's. Might want to give Art a head's up in case he needs to hide the family.
No. MV will have to plant one, then mow it.

Quote from: PChirp on June 10, 2015, 04:54:43 PMEvery freaking break, these damn things show up. Is there a commercial philosophy that if we annoy the living hell out of you, with never-ending repetition, you'll eventually break down and purchase the crap? Or is this just some kind of sick torture because LM insurance wants more than just policy payments. I'd rather listen to Dave's Carnivora pitches.
Personally, this would fit better into the category of "things that annoy me." I cannot remember an ad campaign in recent history that is literally played during each and every TV commercial break. Mute button be damned, I wouldn't purchase insurance through Liberty Mutual simply because their commercials annoy the living fuck out of me. Trolling national tort attorneys and reverse mortgage adverts---bring em' on! There's simply nothing worse than LM in my book. Actually, I guess it brings me joy and catharsis to vent about these assholes.

Quote from: Eddie Coyle on June 10, 2015, 03:46:00 PMThanks, Eddie! I'm going to think of this now when I see these MF's pop-up on my tube, right before I cut their vocal cords. Double the joy.
France, you can have Lady Liberty back. We're using it as a prop to sell motherfucking car insurance. We suck.

Exactly. Have to really wonder why he chose that particular thread to pollute.
If he had a problem with something said on the GabCast, that would have been the appropriate thread to post it on
