Anyone who makes an "In Search Of" reference is welcome here.  Have fun.

What the illustrious zeebo said.

Extra points if you are aware Robert Vaughn hosted the pilot episode and then declined to host the series.

Thank goodness, as Nimoy RULED.

Extra extra points if you ever watched Chuck Connors host Thrill Seekers and it made you do something stupid on a skateboard.

In what land does one find such Paleolithic graffiti as that etched upon your thrown?

Hello all Bellgabbers,

This is Audiofile.  I've recently joined the Forum. I've been viewing your Forum prior to joining as well as listening to the Gabcast for about 6 months.  I've found both to be very informative.

I have listened to Art since about February of 1992 when he was broadcasting from what I believe to be a Casino.

It's great to see Art is back to broadcasting.  So far everything is exceeding our expectations. Thanks to a great part to many of the members of Bellgab who made Art's return possible by promoting his show.

I look forward to being a member of this Forum.

In the land of the Cherokee (Eastern Band) in the Caney Fork Community of Cullowhee, NC near WNC University is that particular rock.

Attached is an old photo of it.  According to oral tradition the monument predates the Cherokee and its admitted they inherited it (unlike all the stuff the Eqyptians inherited).

I also like Fortean travel adventures.  In October I am going to Ireland.  I'll start a Fortean Photo Thread or "Travel photos to send to Art Bell" thread.

Thanks for the warm welcome Bellgab friends.

Hello.  I've been hanging around and posting at times. Art is right, this is a great place, unlike most.  It is like a huge, sometimes dysfunctional family.

I'm a married female.  We live in the greater NY area.  Are expecting two Oriental cats in a few weeks.  Feed five cats plus birds in the backyard.

I believe in reincarnation and enjoy probably every topic that Art entertains.  I listened to Art way before the Sirius days, through Sirius, and after that would google his name, just to see what's going on with him.  I got into bellgab by doing this and found out that he was coming back!  Lucky me.

I now listen with a Grace Mondo internet radio.  I have no problem getting Art in, but I am having problems with the radio that are not addressed in the instructions.

I consider myself lucky to be here.  Sometimes I think there are conversations that refer to things on other threads which are hard to follow, but this is a great group of people, very knowledgeable and diverse and stimulating.

It is good that you are 'vaguely lovable'.  If you were totally lovable you'd be a lot less interesting.

Did I read that Parhump is sitting on top of the second largest underground aquifer in the country?

I've been reading your posts for more than a year, I believe. But to keep in the spirit of things... Welcome, you already know where the bathroom is.

Previously, I had surmised that you were some kind of paid, corporate shill, but now this explains everything.

I've always enjoyed your posts, CC.  Orientals are absolutely exquisite.

Hello all.  I joined about a week ago.  Since I have no opinions and thin skin this seemed like a great place to join.  Wish I had been warned not to venture into the Falkie thread.  I'm not good at unseeing things.

There really does need to be better signage around that thing.

Once, there was a man. He did what he could. That is a true story.

Borrowing from Douglas Adams, it should be kept in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying 'Beware of the Leopard'.

I've been a member since 2008 but I don't post every day so I might as well be new.

I would never have guessed Indigenous N. America!  Thanks for the older photo too. The long straight line seemed the oddest feature to me. Moderns take such things for granted but they're really not so common in the natural world. Has anyone tried to firm up the possible dating? It's appearently much newer/later than I first thought, even Upper Paleolithic is 30,000 ago. In any event it is very primative-cool and worth seeing, so thanks.  Have fun.

Dude! We will to have been having had talked about this next week. Come on!

No, it was last week - but wait, I'm posting this from two weeks in the future.

My first post, I hope the 13 hour time difference does not make it too difficult for me to keep up with the posts.  When I was a child living in the U.S. I used to listed to Art with my Father in the mid 90's, now I live back in Japan and have to use the Internet to listen to him.  Thank you all for accepting me.

Hajimemashite, JRS!  Welcome and have fun.

I'm new here, but have lurked a few years.
Located in Nashville, TN.
Been listening to Art since the early 90s. Had false memories of listening to him in the 80s, but more likely that was Jim White's KMOX show. Don't remember much about White's subject matter, so it must have been something about an authoritative voice coming out of a transistor radio back then.

Hello, Stranger.

:)

I barged in here about a month ago without formally introducing myself. I apologize...

So, hello, everyone.

Is it possible to change my board name? I didn't realize how many people here have "cat" in their name... I came up with it on a whim and wish I would've thought it out better.

Bradsmith313

Hello.

My name is Brad Smith.
I'm a reporter and paranormal investigator. Lead debunker. Yes, I debunk but I've had my share of experiences.
I live in Southern Oregon. Back in the day, I used to listen to Art on 1440 KMED in Medford, Ore.
I'm glad he's back.
I'm also having fun here.
