Johnny Carson wanted David Letterman to take over "The Tonight Show," not Jay Leno. The network wanted Leno. The network had the final say.

Heather is no Letterman, but the analogy works.

And neither one of them tried to mimic him

And this is the court of????

Bwahahaha you’ve obviously never given a deposition to a lawyer and been sued in court in the US. Anything you say can AND WILL be used against you.

I ask again, this is the court of???

We know this much however, Art did give Dreamland to Whitley, so there's that....

Keith owns Midnight in the Desert and all the IP.  It wasn't Art's to give.

He had her ''fill in'' when he left - which was apparently his right by contract (and plan all along), with Keith hoping he'd come back at least once in awhile.  Art wanted her to keep doing it and Keith acquiesced, not wanting to rock the boat with Art

Yes, but Whitley took it up the chocolate tunnel of love by Aliens and Art could not pass that up

Public opinion.  We each get to decide who we believe.

It's not going well for Heather

Well now Keith has the boat and Heather has the memories.

And the rest of us know this will end badly.

Why couldn't the bad karma have landed (ftmp) In Hoaxie's lap?

I don't doubt that the grays were instrumental in handing him "the key"...

Last night Dave had 2300 listeners, and Heater 700...I'll even argue at least 15-20% of Wad's listeners were trolls...

Before Art's death, Wad averaged 1250 listeners each night.

Time will tell...still very small compared to C2C of course....but nothing wrong with that.

In reality it was Steve Allen's Tonight Show before anyone else's.
He really did pioneer "The Man on The Street", interviews.

Overall FYI no guest listed tonight on Heater's facebook or the artbelllegacy.com page. Maybe they're just keeping it a secret. Time will tell as chefist would say  :)

How did you come by the actual numbers, assuming they are?

Heather's trademark/copyright philosophy also applies to her original photos...

But not the Crystal Gayle song...

Chrystal and the people who collaborated to write it own it - and those names were posted here multiple times when this saga began.

Any host can play it if they pay royalties, just like any other song

If he's ever looking for a good serial killer, we had a local serial killer in our town  named Dr Michael Swango, and it's a pretty crazy story to look into. There's several books out there I believe.
Good Dave, if you want a good, well not good but you know what I mean, case the infamous Austin Yogurt Shop Murders is an interesting, unsolved case with lots of intrigue, theories, convicted people released, police mismanagement/harassment, bad treatments of crime scenes, and even conspiracy theories and really rocked the town.

Yes all true, however there may have been a verbal contract when she "gave it" to Art...

Listening to this on DMDN.  Terrific guest.  Dave and Keith need to get him on MITD.

-->>  Open Minds UFO Radio - 05-15-2018: Jeremy Corbell, Skinwalker Ranch.

Dave and Keith, where is the best place to send guest suggestions to?  I would also like to have S.T. Joshi on MITD, the international authority on HP Lovecraft.
