Because we need a Kennedy in politics. How come the democrats are throwing up a white guy? Must be because they lost so many white midde class voters in 2016 and figure they already have the black and hispanic votes locked up. Is Joe Kennedy gay?

There are areas off the 110 and 105 in SoCal that are no joke. You do not exit the fwy if you’re white, period. If you do, there’s a really good chance you’ll be killed. Great place. Maxine has done a wonderful job.

I used to have to go to Rockwell at Downey back in the early 80’s for Shuttle work. One night we all went out to the Queen Mary and everyone started buying drinks in the art deco bar. I had never drank martinis but that is what most of the old farts I was with bought.

Now to head back to the hotel somewhere off Lakewood or Imperial. Except this was back before cell phones and gps devices. Somewhere I snapped I had passed up my turn and survival instincts kicked in.

Quick exit. Roscrans!!! Oh shit!!!

I have no idea how I found the hotel with my head barely high enough to see out the windows.

I don’t hold out much hope for it, but I think Trump should bring up Syria and our legal basis for being there. We are still operating under the 2001 authorization of force that was the result of 9/11.

This isn’t Trump’s fault. He inherited it. I believe we should have Congress on record as to supporting the overall antiterrorism effort instead of trying to shoe horn in every action on every continent into the 2001 authorization.

Neither did my old computer so I took an old laptop and put Linux Mint on it and can stream live ok. Weird.
I'm sure your local stations might have the speech, NPR (but would have to put up with their "spin") or my local AM said that they'd have. CSPAN app or Tunein if you have a smartphone.

Is there a drinking game for the speech?

Joe Pags is great. He has filled in for national hosts like Levin at times.
