What if life imitates hidden art?  If it goes according to the implied (never made explicit) plot of Lost, it will turn out that an important & powerful figure in business has disappeared, and is eventually discovered to have been incognito on that flight--as with Ralph A. Voss in "One of Our Aircraft Is Empty" on Department S, Alvar Hanso (near-anagram of the other name) on Lost.  Then, after some long time there will emerge a group of living persons who claim to have been on that flight, and who do look like certain people who traveled under their names.  However, one of them will have reason to have DNA tested, and will duck that test.  One or more of those persons will claim to be the business magnate, and others of the ostensible survivors will vouch for that person as having been on the flight with them.  But someone like the character of Herbert de Lernac in "The Lost Special" will blackmail one or more of them.

or predictive programming? Idk, never watched those shows, though I hear they were good, but what about not imitating but predicting (by either "other" people simply getting ideas from plot-lines, or "them" making new real plot-lines more acceptable by predictive programming, or weird, circumstantial serendipity? We know that government(s) have used Hollywood (to use a generic term) for propaganda and theorizing. But do we know the level? And how much is, maybe, based (at least now) on balance on THAT side (Hollywood etc) is using government?

Shea & Wilson were quite amused, the rest of us more like amazed, when some of the details of Illuminatus! regarding Equatorial Guinea played out a few yrs. later IRL, including a name very similar to the humorous one they made up, Tequila y Mota.  Bob Shea told me the reason they set events on Fernando Poo was that a neighbor's child pointed out that funny name on a map.  I suspect the fictional island-nation of Carlotta in Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid to have been in imitation of Fernando Poo (Bioko today) in its relationship to the coast of their respective continents, as a tribute to Illuminatus!  Meanwhile Lost stuck in an allusion to that location in the form of "Craphole [i.e. Poo] Island" & gave unmistakable clues that that's where events were taking place, along with allusions to the events involving Fission Chips on Fernando Poo.

So is fiction a how-to manual for super-villains?  We do have acc'ts that government agencies have pursued projects like that in Cerf's Little Green Men.  Is Hollywood a test bed?

After much thought, and im in the aviation business (Commercial pilot) I have to say that it was probably a hijacking  . No communication, the plane turning a full 360 deg south, then carrying on for some 7 hours more? So if that is the case it could have not been a fire if it flew on for 7 more hours. Could not  have been an in flight mechanical problem because the pilots made no call to ATC. However if hijacked, then its possible that no communication would have been transmitted. There was a fight in the cockpit, both pilots incapacitated, that left the hijackers who probably knew nothing about how to pilot an aircraft, eventually the plane ran out of fuel and landed in the sea. Im interested if Ed dames will remote view this case...

He did.  I believe he said the pilot was trying to hijack the plane, so the co-pilot tried wrastling away the controls.  That led to the pilot being killed, the plane cliimbing to 40 000 feet and depressurizing, and the co-pilot being unable to recover it.  Or something like that.

I don't know where this notion of an airliner climbing to 40000 feet, by some osmosis causes it to depressurise. 40000 isn't unusual. I have an app called flight radar and it frequently shows flights at FL41000- 43000.

Hi,

Why not listen to Sarah and decide for yourself.  I've met her and she's not an actress ) Just because she worked at some big company in the past that can be linked in some way - so what?  These days there are huge companies around that can be linked to almost anything. Here's an interview with Sarah in the last part of this podcast:

you're an idiot

Really? Coming from a coke head that's quite a compliment. But feel free to explain how an airliner climbing to FL 400 (40000 feet) will automatically depressurise the cabin.

So is the Egyptian Air liner sitting next to Flight 370 on some island somewhere?

Same portal. Or more likely it hit the sea at or close to it's VNE and bits broke off. The heavy stuff like engines and undercarriage dragging most of the rest to the bottom.
