I can relate.  It boils down to the media insults my intelligence.  For the most part, it has a clear left wing and, in my mind, subversive agenda which Trump has brought to the fore like no one else in history.  Even with this, those who have never in their lives experienced anything approaching fact based, objective news reporting or received an education that taught them empiricism (how to think rather than what to think) and focused on a true liberal education that balances the arts, the hard sciences and the humanities rather than pushing the so called social sciences that stress our differences, are getting all insecure and resistant to what their lying eyes are telling them.  This of course includes the entertainment industry, MSM, politicians and educators.

Sadly “hard science” is becoming as difficult to locate as so-called “higher education”. Both have been corrupted by those who value political agendas over truth at the expense of several generations of humanity.

You're a moron. Mueller is a Republican for a start (not that it matters). Now if you want to believe the ultra thing skinned, orange toddler that's entirely up to you, but the grown ups know that pretty much everything Trump says is likely to be a lie and/or a sign of his continued dementia.

I hope you're kidding and just being snarky.  I think you and Laura make a good couple.

I imagine that if we pulled the curtain back on everybody at Bellgab ( ie met each other for real) rather than evil old Wizards, we'd reveal ourselves to be kind-hearted, bumbling and maybe even lovable excluding Pud of course (JOKING). No one absolutely no one comes across very well on forums and social network sites.

Not me.  I’’m a prick 24/7/365.

Yes I have and although my income is middle class and I live in a low tax state, I'll still pay more.  Single people are getting screwed.  The price of Freon being now what it is, I know you don't huff it.  Model airplane glue probably better suits your budget for recreational drugs.

You’ll be paying more taxes?  Good ya cheap bastard, it’s about time you started giving a little back.

Denial by the head of the CDC himself.  Does this mean that, yet again, Pud has proven himself to be a sap?

Ground control to Pud.  Be advised: The MSM on this side of the pond is not to be believed just like in the U.Kâ€"how copy? Over.

Due to some procedural problems reconciling the bill between the Houses the House will have to vote on it again tomorrow, assuming it passes the Senate. Most observers reckon it will pass though the usual suspects, like Schumer, are talking against it. Schumer had some illegals arrested in his office. So much for the Democrats liking DREAMERs and illegals. Racist Schumer.  ;)

He's one of yours, dear. His conservatism is a ruse. His goal is to buddy up to conservatives here and then attempt to discredit them. He wants this site shutdown and told me as much the first night he was here. You should thank him! :D

Can we take it that you fully support the GOP tax bill that will be going to the Senate, and if its signed off, you'll be right behind it? I'm curious how anyone can lie about it, because the GOP have just pushed it through without debate. Their own figures have 83% of the tax rebate will go to 3% of the population. But they had to pay back their backers, so why not just be honest about what they were doing?

It certainly isn't perfect (House has to go back to revote tomorrow even.). An national sales tax would be better, or even a flat tax. And I would exempt income earned overseas (by individuals and companies.) It is silly that we are taxed on income earned elsewhere especially if you live there, do business there, or invest there. Not many other countries have this "global" idea of income taxation for their citizen. But better than current system and I like the curbs on some deductions, forcing voters and politicians in certain states to reform their odious tax policies or own them and pay it themselves. I like lowering the corporate tax rate which is ridiculously high (even compared to many "socialist" countries in Europe.) I think a national sales tax would be much better though. Would tax the 'black economy,' promote savings and budgeting, and free up all the talent and mind-power of lawyers, accountants, bureaucrats, and lobbyists etc to focus on productive economic efforts and not on how to scheme tax avoidance plans, fill out paperwork, push paper, etc.

I guess conservatives have lost their balls. They're constantly on their heels these days when they should be charging forward. Oh well. As I suspected, the core of the party are closet homosexuals into cross-dressing. ::)

The only alteration won't fundamentally alter it. Its basically a procedural change.

I agree, but that isn't what the GOP are pushing through.

Is a red herring. Because corporations don't pay 35% that Trump kept claiming. Its neaer 18% in real terms.

Well, whatever you or I would prefer, it isn't going to happen. What is going to land on the Senate floor is the vast majority of the population is going to be worse off, because the $1.3 trillion deficit  is going to be paid for somehow. And we both know it won't be the billionaires who will be doing it.

The top 10% of earners pay 63% of the total income tax burden.  It has to do with propotionality.  I will wait until I can get a look at the details rather than take Rachel Madcows word for it.  How much of a tax cut did anyone get under Obama and what did he do with the revenue he got from his tax increase on top earners.   Seems like he doubled the deficit.  A rising tide lifte all boats (or something like that.)

Yup, John MCCain and a host of other Trump haters are Republicans.  What’s your point?
