Pass.

Hehe, yeah. He's not great. Perhaps better than Mark Steyn though.

Cmon man Mark Steyn is hilarious! His sarcasm is so quick, once he gets going it’s like a runaway steam roller. Would love to see him and Dennis Miller have a conversation . One would have to record it and play it back in slow motion to understand it.

All aboard!

I laugh my ass off when he fills in for Rush!

I do like him - just weighing up the different guest hosts ... :)

He seems to veer off the politics a little, whereas the other hosts "stick to the script".

I like when Rush tells personal stories too.

Steyn is the only host besides Rush thats sarcastic and funny. The rest all kind of sound the same to me. No edge. They’re like Hannity light.

Do I have to talk to her?

Politics does not make polite pillow chat.  Really?  There is just so much more to discuss and do.

Bernie Sanders said that it was okay:

"A man goes home and masturbates his typical fantasy. A woman on her knees, a woman tied up, a woman abused.

A woman enjoys intercourse with her man â€" as she fantasizes being raped by 3 men simultaneously.

The man and woman get dressed up on Sunday â€" and go to Church, or maybe to their 'revolutionary' political meeting."

Wow Weiner, where did you find that one? I have to say though, the Bern makes a few cogent points on how human interpersonal relations have changed since the days of survival first. Interesting read, tnx!

As an aside we see a real loss of role structure now on the left. In essence there are few if any social justice dragons left to slay. The draft is gone, women are in the workplace, Jim Crow is dead, all the old big battles over equality have largely been won.

So what's a frustrated social justice warrior left to do?

Revive racism and flog it. It worked before so of course it can work again. Right?

Invent rights for people in the smallest demographic measurable - LGBTQ - then use them shamelessly as a wedge and discard them when done.

Go full on socialism without ever measuring where and how it has worked. Hint - homogenous populations are mandatory where wealth redistribution is concerned. Why? Oh come on - that's where the racism card gets played again.

And one day, not too far off really, we'll face the automation of everything and the institution of a UBI - anyone trust liberals not to dick that up by trying to insert: skin color/ethnicity/wealth/sexual preference/male vs. female, and so on?

This is a species that exists to war on itself, long gone the saber toothed tiger or any environmental peril save for the imaginary "climate change" - the new hobgoblin of perceived social danger transacted through junk science and infused with all the impotent rage of social justice warriors with no real enemy to vanquish.

Climax state for all this, not socialism...not even close.

Fascism, fanatical secular fascism and totalitarianism.

Mark's the man.  He's about the only fill-in for Rush I enjoy.  He appears to be the heir apparent for when Rush finally hangs it up.  I sure hope so.

It seems to me that rioting and violence has always been the endgame: one side uses violence to demand more governmental control, and the other allows more government control for fear of violence.
A win/win situation for the political elite.
Socialist Democracy: 1, Constitutional Republic: 0.

They HAD to know that overuse of the words racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, and all others "ists" and "obias" would eventually numb the public to the accusations- and create dissention.

At this point, the factions would have been balkanized enough that they would generate the hate themselves, with no further catalyst required.

Another example of balkanization would be language. Why should a person learn hundreds of languages when those hundreds could learn just one? One set language is a primary reason America became the powerhouse that it is.

Transpose a map of the U.S. onto any other body of land and count the many languages and it becomes clear that speed of communication played a large part in our nation's development.

To reverse this? Well, The Tower of Babel proves the power in it:
And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
Let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

There are many others factors but I see this one as a topic rarely discussed.

Hahaha azzerass pulled his post right before mine where he parroted the faggot thing.  Can’t be having that now can we since you called MD out earlier somewhere else for always using that one. Gotta cover your tracks.

That’s some lame stuff.

I see you’re also into editing quotes posts down to whatever you want them to say.

I created you your own little thread, so that others wouldn’t have to be subjected to this idiocy. Yet you obsessively follow me around the board.

As a bit of a tangent I find it fascinating how many native Americans cultures have an analog creation myth to the Christian Biblical narrative.

CHAPTER III

"HOW THE MOCKING BIRD GAVE THE PEOPLE MANY LANGUAGES
When all these were made the young men were asked to take them to the southwest, toward Patuwakachi (the ocean) and at a good distance away from the kiva these pahos were set with the wishes and prayers of the chief that the waters may only come as far as the spot where the offerings were placed. Now every day, for four days the young men were sent back to this place where they had put these pahos to see if there were any signs of moisture or the coming of Paso (the roaring waters). Now every day the water was seen to be creeping up on these pahos and at the end of the fourth day the people began to feel the damp air. Then the big wind came and it kept up for many days and at last Paso had come and it had covered up all the land around the kiva so that no one could reach it. This was, of course, a very fearful thing to all the people. 12

Of course, no one knows how long they lived around that place, but after a great many years they increased and they started to have more trouble among themselves. The chief was afraid that something might happen again so

p. 28

he had a council with his men once more, and he asked them what should be done. One of the men said that the only thing that he thought of was, if they only could speak different languages and learn to eat different kinds of food from one another, they might start away or become parted in many divisions.

"Why," said the chief, "how could we do this?"

Someone said, "Well, don't we have the mocking bird who knows many songs and why shouldn't he give us many different languages?"

"Well," said the chief, "I think that is a very good idea."

Then he asked the men to come the next day so that they could make their prayer offerings for the mocking bird. So the next day the men came over with their trays and some materials with which to make their prayer offerings. They started work that morning and kept on until late in the afternoon. When all their prayer offerings were finished, the crier called out for the men to bring him their presents of food for them all to eat. After they finished their meal they started singing the calling songs for the mocking bird, and at the end of four songs the mocking bird came.

When he came he asked them why he was being so anxiously called. The chief answered him and said, "It is because we are in trouble and we wish to have some changes made, if it would be possible." Then the mocking bird asked what kind of changes.

"Well," said the chief, "would it be possible that we, living here as one people, could be given different languages'?"

The mocking bird said, "It can be done."

Every human society, no matter how isolated...shakes their head up and down for affirmative, and side to side for negative...figure that one out!

What's not amusing is your inability to realize that you're wasting your ability to positively engage here with a unique, wry-humored, creative person whose insights you're barely capable of receiving.

Let me be blunt - you're not the sharpest knife in this drawer.

Based on what I see others doing the bar is so low you really don’t have to contribute anything of value.  Trying to engage on an intellectual basis with most of the cretins remaining here (but not all) would be a waste of time.

This place is like the neighborhood you remember fondly from childhood and then you find it covered in filth and riddled with bullet holes when back for a visit decades later.  It would be better to just keep the memories and see it bulldozed to start over.

Like I said earlier, at this point I’m just throwing matches.  And adding a stick poking in a few cages of the deserving just for fun. I’ll probably get bored with it at some point.
