I think Heather is the Bobby Blotzer of Internet radio. This guy was the drummer for RATT. I almost didn't know RATT even had a drummer. Apparently he was not even the original drummer, and he had almost no writing credits, zero in the band's heyday. RATT has several albums but only ever had one popular song, and that was in 1984.

Anyways. Bobby was expelled from the business partnership and so he started a new band, and called his band RATT too and used the same logo! During this time there were no less than 3.5 versions of RATT who were all touring separate from one another. The other versions of RATT all merged together to create a more definitive and almost classic version of the band.

At one point Bobby was given a cease and desist by a judge but continued to use the name and logo anyways. Currently there are just the 2 versions of the band but Bobby's moniker has since been modified/extended although his promoters still just book him as RATT. Both versions of the band are doing the county fair and pawn shop circuits. Members of the real RATT have chosen not to enact on the judge's order because they suspect that Bobby is mental and actually needs serious institutional help.

This has been a crazy soap opera on Blabbermouth the past 2-3 years and it is comedy gold.

The first thing that comes to my mind when someone mentions Ratt is Milton Berle.  He was the uncle of Ratt's manager and appeared in their hit video, Round and Round.

Ah, 21, greetings and felicitations. You're looking like a new man. I had to drop by when I heard about Art. Seems like nothing changes whether he's in this world or the next. The eternal quest continues.

Hate to say it but I'm as skeptical about all this as I was when Art quit MITD. Unless someone is willing to put up the bucks to get a viable show up and running, it's just a pure miracle that Keith finds somebody with talent willing to work for peanuts.

I mean, has anybody really made this internet radio/subscriber model work successfully? Who knows but we might have a better shot of getting the show we want from someone like Sirius/XM. Granted, that didn't work out with Art. But at least they have the cash to fund a quality niche show and build an audience. Maybe Keith should consider talking to them again -- if that bridge isn't totally burnt.

I can see a talented pro becoming successful with an internet show.  It is the wave of the future but I don't think that breakthrough is going to be MITD.

The key too is if someone reliable is brought on like Schrader, radio affiliates would probably line up to carry the show.  Remember Cumulus was ready to sign Art and MITD but then Art decided to quit for the final time.  Schrader's not Art though and it would be a tough slog for him to make the breakthrough.  I just don't think Dave is that interesting a personality though I could be wrong..

Then that's their reason. Each state has different laws. Most require police and ME, not corners, (anyone can be a corner, just win an election) but me's are Dr's forensic Pathologist.

Please IM me the results if you see it I am very interested in what is found. As I said before, 2 important things to look for, and this csn stsrt a police homicide investigation after post mortem is completely finished when all toxicalogy test come back, and would be very interested to know which test were done as well as victims medical condition. A lot more than TV !?  The 2 things I said to look for are the listing are the cause and manner of death. Example, Cause: gunshot wound to head, non self inflicted. Manner: Homicide. Follow?

I heard Milton was a prick and liked to do spit takes during rehearsals. Many actors and crewmembers were often sprayed and people often walked off the set and refused to rehearse with him. I think even Lorne Michaels banned him from SNL because of it. I could be wrong about the SNL but maybe not.

I think RATT died with their guitarist Robbin Crosby. He died of AIDZ (from sharing heroin needles). He co-developed/created the King V (built by Jackson) although the V he is playing in the video is not a King V. A King V is much more pointy. Kerry King from Slayer is a longtime user of the King V as well as Dave Mustaine from Megadeth. It was a popular model in the 1990s and was available in different price categories.

I am, as well, very much interested in what the autopsy results will reveal. I wonder if they will find any opioids in his system and if so what levels?
According to Dannion Brinkley, when he was on with Geogre Noory, he said that Art had been in a lot of discomfort and pain for many months leading up to his death.

My speculation is Art may have taken, purposely or by accident, more medication than was prescribed. It might have relaxed his nervous system and muscles to the point where his breathing became very shallow and labored. That coupled with his COPD could easily have caused his death. The COPD alone could have caused the conditions that lead to his death.
But I have zero medical expertise and the only time I ever experienced opioids was when I had surgery many years ago. For a few days immediately following surgery the Anesthesiologist used to give me injections of morphine through an epidural in my spine. Then after that I believe they gave me demerol. I did not feel any pain whatsoever. These meds are a godsend when used appropriately under a doctor's care. But so dangerous when misused.

I'm hoping Art died of natural causes and there doesn't end up being some ambiguity in the results that leads to suspicion and rumor. His immediate family doesn't need that.
But this is Art. He loved the drama so if any more strangeness could be added to his life, even posthumously, he'd be the one person that would happen to.
