Heater can't even do Open Lines Friday anymore? WTF. It seems Heater's just burning that Leg-assy all down again out of spite. Five days a week doing 4 hours of repeating guests. Insane.

I haven't been listening this week, has Heather taken a single phone call all week?

I rarely catch the TV show but on radio Hannity is the absolute worst. I don't understand for the life of me, why this guy has a nationally syndicated radio show. He's not the least bit entertaining, never thinks outside the box and will never question anything the Republicans say.

Haven't seen this mentioned yet. A commemorative plaque and bench have been unveiled in Pahrump.

A plaque and bench have been installed in memory of Art Bell, a long-time Pahrump resident and radio personality who passed away April 13, 2018 at age 72.

A member of the National Radio Hall of Fame and the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame, Bell is best known for his paranormal-based radio show Coast to Coast AM. He also was the founder and original owner of KNYE 95.1 FM in 1999, which still operates today.

The bench and plaque were paid for by Friends and Fans of Art Bell with a contribution from the county including installation of the bench and plaque.

I had never heard of this before... nice catch. I googled "Art Bell Drive" and can only find a couple references to it. Looks like it's on 11th Street.

Sadly, I was bored and just virtually walked every foot of 11th street and couldn't find any signage at all.

Her AB tribute show was basically an interview with Whitley Strieber. They started out talking about Art, but after a while it was basically just a normal Whitley interview (assuming there IS such a thing).

There is no way those commercials are paid. Movie trailers from the 1970's, a Budweiser campaign that officially ended 12 years ago, and parody commercials.

And her affiliate stations are insignificant:

Pretty sure it's just online. If the show had terrestrial affiliates, then lack of a dump button would be a legit concern. Working in radio myself I can tell you that the dump button is rarely used. Maybe 1 in 200 calls needs to be edited for bad content. This is a super lame excuse for Heather not to do her show.

I think it's illegal to do this. You can't include bumper music in a downloadable MP3. Anyone doing this is getting away with because it's a small time operation. This is why the downloadable Mp3's of C2C don't include music but the streaming version does. You can stream music but it can't be available for download.

I think Art knew in March of 2016 that he wasn't returning full time. I think this was around the time that Heather stopped talking about "Keeping the Chair Warm".

Plus, Heather's header image on her FB page "Heather Wade Midnight In The Desert" was posted about that time.

And with Keith's "The power is out in Parump" slip up, I say it's very possible Heather had been living in Art's guest house for at least a year but only officially bought the property recently.
