I'm sure many of you remember the time Ian had Steve Quayle on as a guest  and started challenging him in a manor that Steve was not accustomed to.
As a result, the next time George was on he kept apologizing for the unfair treatment Steve received.  He even had Ian apologize several times for the way he conducted the interview.
I believe it was at this time that Ian began to plan his exit strategy from Coast.
Ian has cited his tinnitus as a reason for leaving Coast.
I always enjoyed the evenings Ian was a host on Coast. He seemed to always be well familiar with the topic and the interview, going so far as to actually reading the books the guest wrote.
Could it be that one of the reasons Ian is going to be a guest on Coast is that he will become a host once again.
I don't know. It's just me thinking.
I really liked Ian - better than the Art substitutes in circulation now.  I am wondering, if he had not been afflicted with tinnitus, it would be he hosting Coast - a whole different ballgame.

You think his phone will be able to pick up his trademark gasps and breathing?...

I think that's just him inhaling helium before going on one of his filibusters

Hey, starr.  :D We're over on the Noory thread.

Mr. Fidget

I have very little respect for George & Art, both of which have completely failed to respond (in any substantive way) to my reasonable and increasingly emphatic requests to view/hear the documentation relating to the "Fidget Debacle"... Ian is the only one who gave me the time (a few minutes) when I called his hotel room during NAB... to hear my story. It's my belief that as a result of his inquiry to the C2C archivist, to get and hear the 8-13-97 show for himself, that my show was then played on SIT... or nobody would have been able to hear it on SIT.

Long live Deacon Punnett, may the universe restore his hearing!

:D I wish C2C had never become politicized.Sneery and Ian Pungent both express political opinions and take political callers.I just wish they screened out political talk.I enjoy it during the daytime, but that show, C2C could be a refreshing diversion.I can't recall if George Knapp provides political commentary, but I have a feeling he is too smart to adulterate his shows.Just one persons opinion.

For others ' sake ' , Cheers?

Identity theft isn't cool, bro.

Don't worry, I'm sure Ian's just way too smart to have let that happen

Is Ian related to Dumheiser?

was recently interviewed talks about his coast days etc.
https://mysteriousmatters.com/2016/12/11/ian-punnett-nashville-coast-coast/

Bob and Ian then turn the discussion to focus on Ian’s new True Crime book called “A Black Night for the Bluegrass Belle“. It focuses on the murder of his grandmother’s first cousin, Verna Garr Taylor.   This is the classic tale of unrequited love gone horribly wrong and justice was almost never dished out. That’s what happens when you’re a rich and powerful person with friends in high places. As a white male in the 1930’s, former Brigadier General, and Lt Governor of Kentucky, Henry Denhardt felt as though he was untouchable...

But Denhardt was a narcissistic sociopath. It was also brought up how it appears, President Elect Donald Trump shares a lot of the same narcissistic sociopath (or psychopath) characteristics with Henry Denhardt.

You know what, Ian?  You're just another clueless whiny Liberal fuckwit.

lol. I had to turn off Ian's facebook feed during the run-up to the election. Tha man is, indeed a Liberal fuckwit. He posted all kinds of fake news regarding Mr. Trump and all that crap that the libtards took out of context from what was said. A lot of posts. He's working this Trump is a narcissistic sociopath into all his interviews.

But Ian the radio host I do adore. He really stepped up the time(s) Art quit. He also had what I thought was a gentle self deprecating humor while hosting.  :D The book sounds pretty good too. I've been listening to some of his recent book tour interviews and if I had to pick the best one, I think wr250 found it.

they are really soros brainwashed socialist pawns, nothing but proletarian manipulatable class

I live in Seattle and i cannot stand these liberals around here. I am liberal on SOME social issues however for the most part these people should be thrown to lions.

Yes. I love name calling and throwing people into tired classifications while professing how thoughtful and open-minded you are. I guess that is what is considered being well-spoken now
