Quote from: K_Dubb on September 06, 2022, 10:37:30 PMI am sorry for your younger man in a dress, I would hang out with him for a bit.  Unless he is fat.
It's only recently that I found out that quite a number of people left at the protests shun him for his fashion choice (and I generally am not down there now- but might go just to talk with him.) I think when there were more people, the mixture had many more accepting individuals. Now it is almost all the die hards, bible thumpers and very bitter / angry. I've seen him enough to wonder why he still goes as none of those describe what I observed.

I will be honest. The dresses he wears are long, flowing, light weight and soft colours. He is thin with long blonde hair. The combination actually makes him look like an angel who just stepped out of a renaissance painting. I think you would likely have to keep reminding yourself that he has not had his monkeypox vaccine and probably cursing your bad luck.  ;)

Pfizer, Moderna and J+J and astrazenica are expected to have raked in 63 billion worldwide from their vaccine sales.

With 1.2 million people in the USA infected with HIV, and assuming the lower estimate of $15,000 each you end up with 18 billion in sales each year in that country alone. Good thing that certain portion of the population is know to happily bend over to get reamed.  :P

*I also wonder how many people who donated to HIV research would have foreseen that their donations would be used to rape people who require the medication... Again, and again... and again.

Quote from: K_Dubb on September 06, 2022, 09:33:14 PMNo, HIV is handled now by medicine taken as a prophylactic and, among those who have it, by antivirals which keep their viral load low so much less of a risk.  As far as covid vaccines, there are no unvaxxed homos, urban gay populations run 95% or more despite being younger fit males at risk of myocarditis, the highest percentage of any demographic, it's just one more shot with risks we all know, which is why it's funny to see other people running around pulling their hair.
I even found a suitably left leaning rag to quote. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/hiv-aids-deaths-united-states_n_59b6bb38e4b06e4604a22f2c

"In 2014, the last year for which these data are available, 12,333 Americans with HIV died of any cause, and 6,721 of them died from causes directly attributable to HIV." I wonder how many dropped dead from covid after having their health compromised and are now counted as "covid deaths" rather than "aids deaths?"

Annual HIV/AIDS treatment costs $14,000-$20,000, according to Michael Kolber, a professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Good think Y'all don't have kids and can afford to keep yourselves alive year after year instead.

The fact that is is now ignored (vax proof without a recent HIV test) tells you everything.

*I suppose that the pox vax will be the same thing. There will be no unvaxxed homos. And if there are, they deserve to be shunned until they fulfill their only useful role- to increase the number of suicides so that we have an inflated statistic to weaponize.

*Did I mention that "we" have a younger man at the protests in a long dress? Shunned by most antivaxxers (many self righteous hypocritical bastards who don't think that a man should be in a dress while protesting for freedom) and shunned by the vaxxed in equal measure. I actually feel for the guy (before you level an accusation, I do believe he still goes by him.)

Quote from: K_Dubb on September 06, 2022, 10:19:41 AMWell I can always blow my load by myself, I suppose, but it's fairly common, when you want to do it with someone else for whom you presumably harbor at least a nascent affection, to volunteer the date and results of your latest screening and shots so they know you are not trying to give them something horrid by way of introduction, the usual concerns about privacy tend to evaporate when you are hoping to smash.

Nacient affection? Is that what the kids are calling it now? On an individual level- knock yourself out. You probably should ask about monkey pox, HIV status, HPV vaccinations, and, of course the most deadly of all... Vaccination against Covid. It is called personal responsibility- and knowing what you want in a partner is probably not something that anybody can fault you for.

I assume that the establishments that are busy virtue signalling over the latest scare probably hung the "vaccinated only" sign next to their Ukrainian flag. Out of curiosity- do they also ask for recent HIV screenings?

I would imagine anybody who did not get the pox vax also didn't get the Covid vax. So now they have probably been shunned by what they see as "their" community for years now and actively rejected. I wonder how many of them will hang this year? I wonder if that is even matters if they are not the "right kind" of gay and instead seen as subhuman if they remain unvaxxed?

Maybe MD could save everybody the trouble and toss only the unvaxxed gays off of rooftops from now on? At least it would appear that they are the least likely of all to be missed by anbody.  :(

Texas? Makes sense. Prevent the condensation inside. Here, it gets heat traced if necessary. (And the distillate from the high efficiency furnaces has to be neutralized and put down a drain rather than a gravel pit dug outside...)

At work, we have a small ductless split that tries to run in the middle of the winter. There is a ton of heat added to the environment that the particular office was built in (industrial environment.) Somehow, when it hits -40 outside, things still continue to struggle through. I have been expecting the compressor to crater for the last couple of years- but I guess I must have ordered some kind of a winter package with it.

Of course it is a different disease and a different vaccine (not without its own inherent risks) but, with certain venues for um socialization and hookups requiring proof of it, you don't see disgruntled unjabbed homos wearing yellow stars and convoys of Miatas descending on the Meatpacking District demanding to be let in.

Quote from: Yorkshire pud on September 05, 2022, 10:10:29 PMI'd be very interested to know where this group gets their figures from of vaccinated people dying from covid, and the pathology surrounding the cases.

Sorry. This group combs facebook. Not for covid deaths- but for "vaccine deaths." Anybody from the age of 5 to 70 who dies suddenly or of a heart condition is a prime candidate to end up on the page. (Yes, until the vaccine nobody ever dropped dead of a heart condition at the age of 60... It HAS to be the vax.)  ;)

AS for people dying "of Covid". Numbers in Alberta and BC became unfavourable to the vaccinated. A disproportionate number of tripple vaxxed made up for a larger percentage of deaths than they should have. So the government stopped reporting deaths by vaccine status.*

*To be fair, the triple vaxxed are likely to be old and unhealthy people. So the fact that they dropped dead at a higher rate did not mean that the vaccine did not work at all as people twisted it to mean. But the figures had become laughable and fodder for the dirty anti-vaxxers. My sister has the screenshot of the last time Alberta Health published deaths and hospitalizations broken down by vaccine status.

A long time ago I once was so sick with the flu or something that dying didn't seem like such a bad thing but I don't think my temperature was even close to 107. I can't imagine how that must have felt. I'm glad you're back to one 100%. Some people who had a mild case complain of long-covid. Dave Navarro, for example, says he's been sick for six months so far:

https://www.guitarworld.com/news/dave-navarro-long-covid

One of my neighbors died from it. I don't know if he was vaccinated or not.

I sometimes wonder if covid was around at least a year before we ever heard about it and only hit the news after it got too out of control to keep it a secret.

To answer the question, I tried. It was my plan to avoid accidentally carrying to and spreading it to others in my life. I played crib for two nights straight in "covid castle" with a sick cousin (a holiday trailer parked in his back yard with the windows closed.) But I failed. It took several more months and dozens of other (accidental) exposures at work. Finally three of us at work caught it at the same time (all got sick on the same day.) So it had to have come from work- but nobody knows who the typhoid Marry was.

It really was only 36 hours from onset to 100% health. And only a fever, chills and no energy. No respiratory issues, no sore throat, no cough. Just sleep.

I do believe that it was circulating since at least the previous November (and possibly earlier) being unreported.

And my great aunt died of cancer (they marked it Covid- but she was at the best a couple of weeks away from death after several years of having some bone cancer.) My grandmother had no risks aside from age and died of Covid (I didn't know until recently- she had received her first shot a couple of weeks before admission to the hospital.)

When I think of all the people I wanted dead from covid but there are all still alive (not all of them live in Martinez) I can't help thinking that it was not nearly as severe as we were led to believe and it should have been allowed to run its course rather than totally disrupt everything just to let a few people feel important.

I think more people are reaching that conclusion looking at the numbers, realizing that 95% of the population has now had it, and that (as you point out) almost none of the degenerates have departed due to it.

These same chucklefucks chafing in the shackles of oppression because they had to go in a certain door or their favorite bar was closed would have cheered if governments had rounded up all of us monkeypox-havers and put us on an island or in camps or raided our bars and sex dungeons and subjected us to all manner of government intrusion into our most intimate activities in the name of public health.  Hypocrites one and all, I see you  >:(

What your graph represents is not a drop in the number of people infected, but rather the number of people who give a Sh!t anymore and actually report it or get tested at a lab. According to our official numbers, there are 880 people in the hospital right now with Covid- and only 145 cases in total reported yesterday. Looking at the daily numbers, this vaccine thing is really working. Looking at the hospitalizations- not so much. Nobody I know has gotten a lab test when they test positive at home in the last several months- because nobody cares about the nothingburger anymore.

As for wishing people dead. Yeah- that was (and is) unfortunately on both sides, the vaxxed and the unvaxxed. I posted a cartoon here  a couple of days ago that made me laugh. No, I don't actually wish people dead. I'm on a telegram group that posts every death of every vaccinated person they can find. And I feel like I'm yelling into an abyss that they are all screwed in the head celebrating death and cheering it because "they" wished "us" dead for not taking the vaccine. So, naturally, "we" should all celebrate when one of "them" dies. It's bloody insane, morbid and sad.

Sure seems like the whole world wants / needs another endless war. Dump a few more trillion into a wasteland with no accountability and guess how much ends up in the pockets of the politicians (both in the Ukraine and the west.)

We are willing to fight the Ukrainian war down to the last western taxpayer no matter how harmful it is to the poor and the working class and the next generation. If a few people have to starve and freeze along the way, it is a sacrifice that the political clowns are willing to make.

70,000 Czechs are protesting in Prague demanding that the Czechoslovakia take a neutral stance to prevent a lack of energy this winter. The British have warned of civil unrest this winter (and their suggestion was that they should increase the brownshirts police force.)

And if anybody thinks that the politicians are elected to represent your interests, I give you German politician Annalena Boerbock.

"If I give the promise to people in Ukraine – 'We stand with you, as long as you need us' – then I want to deliver. No matter what my German voters think, but I want to deliver to the people of Ukraine," she said.

The German official said that such an approach would not change even if large numbers of people were out in the streets protesting against crippling energy bills.

So, what do I think about the war in the Ukraine? I think it will not matter until we change our politicians at home with ones who will represent what is best for our countries and our own populations.

https://summit.news/2022/09/01/german-foreign-minister-says-support-for-ukraine-will-continue-no-matter-what-voters-think/

*Ediot: I really cannot believe how dumb politicians must think we are and how narcissistic they have to be. When faced with people protesting because they are starving and freezing, she comments "We will stand with Ukraine, and this means the sanctions will stay also in wintertime, even if it gets really tough for politicians," said Baerbock.

Yes. No matter how tough it gets on politicians sitting in their warm houses in gated communities watching the peasants protesting. Must be a tough life. These people are psychopaths.

Quote from: Dr. MD MD on September 04, 2022, 01:47:57 PMHere, pud, just for you:

No, really, I think you'll like this one.

I was going to jokingly advocate for private owned nursing homes as Blackrock has unlimited funds to take care of grandma and is likely engaged in ownership as a way to give back to the individuals who they have spent decades sucking the life out of...

Here is a touching story out of Dorval, Quebec where a real estate company owned a long term care home... "Local health-care officials first arrived on March 29 and found a lot of staff had deserted the facility, leaving many residents lying in soiled beds without having been fed. Two patients died soon after the intervention and at least five of the deceased patients were confirmed to have COVID-19."

Yes, 5 out of the 31 dead had Covid. One wonders if possibly leaving the others laying in their feces without water or food may have contributed to the other deaths.

Here is what Canada's bought and paid for government propaganda outlet had to say about our very successful campaign to kill our unproductive seniors...

"Canada has the worst record for COVID-19 deaths in long-term care homes compared with other wealthy countries... The study found that the proportion of deaths in nursing homes represented 69 per cent of Canada's overall COVID-19 deaths, which is significantly higher than the international average of 41 per cent."

Most nursing homes in Canada are not privately run. But there is probably around 10 or 15% that is. It still leaves a piss poor response by our public health care system that left seniors marinating in their urine while allowing staff to travel between infected facilities and others because they were working 2 or 3 jobs.

So yeah. Dore is correct that private companies may be some of the worst offenders trying to squeeze a profit out of seniors. But what ultimately matters is how a government or society values seniors. I would say that we have demonstrated remarkable well that in Canada, we don't give a shit if they die neglected in a corner. (As far as I know, there were no charges brought in the case of the nursing home whose staff abandoned their patients when the virus hit.)

Or is it the force that took a military veteran who was the only survivor of an IED and had a ton of physical injuries and crushed him, and re injured him?

Possibly the RCMP who now openly admit to withholding information in order to push Trudeaus political gun control agenda using a shooting in Nova Scotia?

Don't get me wrong. I'm sure that there are still two respectable Mounties in the force. But they have lost almost all respect that took a century to build.

Years ago I read his "satanic verses." It took probably a year to slog through it, and in the end, I happily agreed that there should be a fatwa. Not for the contents of the book being offensive, but to ensure that he does not publish anymore books. I simply want to save the environment by not cutting down trees to publish a book guaranteed to induce a coma and make one wish for an early death.

*That said, it is too bad. This type of attack (like the Charlie Hebdo attacks) will actually lead to people guarding their speech and avoiding subjects. Allow me to be as offensive as possible.
