Just because this guy believes the earth is flat then that is the way it is and everyone should think the same as him. Sounds real familiar with what is going on in our country. Art should have shut him down before the first break.

I wonder if Graham will light up a joint before the show.

These are all good friends of Redacted who are rooting for her and are letting their emotions get a little wild. You would feel the same if someone was twisting the knife on one of your friends.

It's funny how all the Redacted white knights are trying to run off those who have dissenting opinions, that don't conform to those of the regular posters.

"The other place"....All of the posters were calling us that.

If Art feels that he needs a female co-host, then I will cancel my subscription. As simple as that.

I'm looking forward to the collective meltdown that happens when Art has Richard with him answering open lines. WHERE WILL THE KNUCKLE SQUAD MARCH THEN?

I hope he revisits the subject of Shadow people. The phenomenon has never really been explained as to what it is.

I just listened to the show and she was fine. No one will ever be Art but she was...fine.
I just find it annoying that Art calls her Redacted. Makes the show sound amateur. Use a real name

I went crazy when I heard "The Chase"...the bumper music was spot on throughout the test show! I'm excited for tonight!

People are sure as shit playing the sexism card in other forums...including Facebook, on Art's thread.

Mid 90s here too. Have a picture frame shop and since you can't make anything until it's been sold and people want things as fast as possible I used to work insane hours in the heyday. We were so busy that a few nights a week I would work until 3 or 4 am with a few guys and Art would keep the workshop entertained. I might work some long shifts in the upcoming weeks just out of pure nostalgia.
Also in the mid 90s I didn't have a lot of smarts and one night I was driving home after having a few. Got pulled over. Since it was late at night there were three squad cars. They pulled me out to walk a line. I had an Area 51 sticker on the back of my SUV. As I'm walking the cop asks "You listen to Art Bell?" "Yes, sir!" I replied, my pronunciation sounding a tiny bit more like Dave than it should. He nods and winks.
After making sure I only had a few they made me promise to never drive over the limit again and I never have. They also followed me home to make sure all was safe. Thanks Art!

I've always loved that song. BTW, one of the characters in the song suggests a death as a dam worker.
In the 1930s, there were a number of deaths from dam building in the west (WPA)....especially Hoover Dam

My Studio has back up power BUT the Microwave Internet hops that come from Las Vegas do not. I am sure they will get this taken care of soon but everything I use, phone lines, Shype, even sending the show depend on Internet.

When I was 14, sneaking onto the steps to listen to my father listening to Art Bell at 2am, it was magical..
When I graduated high school and stayed up later the summer of 99 doing it on my own, on an AM radio, it was amazing.
After 9/11, Art Bell calmed me down.
During Katrina, the same..
The generation that has grown up since he left Coast doesn't known long form radio.. true paranormal radio.. deep thought.. science.. conjecture based insight and intelligence.
They are about to.
The fans from then are going to unite with the newcomers from now.
For those who are about to listen to ART BELL for the first time, be aware you will never want to go to bed again.
