I heard it a couple of times now.  Supposedly two suspects in custody.  I'm really wanting to know their last names.  In one way, it does not matter (I would say it is terrorism regardless if it was a mosque, synagogue or church, and regardless of the last name of the shooters.)  I'm just really curious if it was an "interfaith" shooting.  (Yeah, bad humour- but it gets the point across.)

I've only seen one report that they spoke with a Québécois accent.  If that's true, is it hostility imported from France?  They seem to try to outdo the French at nearly everything.

If you look at the FLQ ( Front de libération du Québec) in the 70's, I would say that the idea of terrorism is not a foreign concept to the Quebecois. (See how I lump them all into the same group?)

Canadian police have charged a French-Canadian student over the fatal shooting of six Muslim worshippers at a mosque in Quebec. Alexandre Bissonnette faces six counts of first-degree murder and five of attempted murder.The 27-year-old briefly appeared in a QuebecCity court over Sunday evening's attack, during evening prayers at the Quebec Islamic Cultural Centre.
