Am I wrong in assuming Art will be doing a show on the Black Knight since it was one of the first items on the website? I heard about it for the first time there, I'm interested to hear the story behind it.

That's good to hear. I hope that he does shows on both the Black Knight *and* the Dyatlov Pass. Those subjects are a welcome change from New Age fairy dust. Ditto for the stuff that we can hear on the cable news show of your choice.

numbers 4,6, 14 & 15 of Agent : Orange's list have been topics on Clyde Lewis' shows. plenty of room for discussion though

Oh wow. I'm going to have to look for Clyde Lewis' stuff. I've never heard him before.

I'm working on my friend from NASA to be a guest.  He knows the inside workings about how things  go there.  He has great stories and knows how to tell them.  He has tons of them, about working with the Russians and even one about how the U2 was named; he doesn't think even the famous rock group knows how the little spy plane gained its moniker.

He is reluctant to go to interview because it is his bread and butter.  I'm sure the classified material would get dicey for worldwide radio.  I'll keep working on him but maybe Art can find someone who knows what's going on.

There is value in letting "the enemy" know some things because it can deter them from taking stupid risks.  Of interest was a recent Nova episode that pulled back the curtain on how Seal teams are to trained to take down pirates.  Someone would be crazy to go up against that.  It will save lives.

And, hell, we deserve to know as we pay the bill every April right?

I tried to pick stuff that we haven't heard a lot about and that hasn't been discussed much on Coast. I really like the Black Knight and Dyatlov pass articles Art posted to his website early in it's unveiling, so that is encouraging and suggests Art will go places that others have ignored.

In the other thread, someone suggested I email Paul with the suggestion Art have Howard Hughes from The Unexplained podcast on the show. I got a response back from Paul very quickly that he was being added to the list for consideration, so it does seem that our emails are being read, at least.

Maybe sending this list might not be a bad idea?

Loved your lists of suggestions.  Would love more info on the Dyatlov Pass incident, I've always been curious about that.  Hope you sent in your list.

Here's a few more from a cool list of odd Wikepedia articles, which I've since lost.  Don't know if any have ever come up before.

Nice! Other than the Voynich manuscript I've never heard of any of these.

Earlier this year the text of Voynich was analyzed using information entropy (Shannon entropy) that treats the information content in a message connected to the distribution of characters throughout the text (ie, the "entropy" of the text). Written languages cluster between two entropy bounds and Voynich seems to be in the zone for a legitimate message, suggesting more than just random collections of characters. So there's a lot to discuss about this beyond the weirdness of the artifact itself.
More on the entropy of language and the suggestive nature of the Voynich script here: http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn23740-new-signs-of-language-surface-in-mystery-voynich-text.html#.UjYZVT96qpo

Oh yeah you do.  I don't want to step all over it though. It would make a long read and write.

I'd love to hear more about the Dyatlov Pass incident as well as the Valentich disappearance.  I saw a short piece on the Valentich disappearance on some show awhile back.  These two stories typify what I'd like to hear on Art's new show.

De-lurking for the second time...woohoo!

So does Art really believe Jonathan Reed is legit? I'm surprised that Reed is a guest tonight; I thought he'd been debunked a long time ago.

albrecht

I want Art to get back that guest, I think from Tennessee, who talked about "feral humans". I can't ever find that original show archived but it was creepy and would like a update show. Also it would be funny to have David Icke again just because his "theories" have evolved so into so many areas of weirdness and also to try to become more "mainstream" and anti-new world order instead of reptilians and natural health. Also update on Thompson, I think, with "hollow earth" updates. Lastly, get Mel from Mel's Hole back for a complete update! John Titor, or his "lawyer" also would be nice. And maybe another interview with someone like Willie or Merle Haggard again.

I'd love to hear a few interviews with some astronauts.  Haven't a couple of them observed things in space (moving lights) they were unable to explain?  That could be interesting.  I'd like to hear what it's like to be aboard the International Space Station.  The mix of true science and speculative science is very compelling.

Third delurk and you get candy.

And I think Art let's the guest present their story and the audience decide. However I wouldn't be surprised if he challenges him a bit.
The other thing to remember if Art was a skeptic he wouldn't be who he is, nobody would of listened to him because he'd spend every episode debunking his guests.

George Drooly

I'd love to hear Art interview Larry Flynt. He had Bob Guccione on years ago, I believe (about his wife's alternative cancer treatments? and maybe OMNI mag?). Flynt is a very smart guy with very interesting opinions.

right there with ya... probably one of the best voices for individual freedoms out there. and just the amount of snark I find incredibly invigorating.

Roswells

Oddly enough I think his second week is going to be the first week line up again.  I'd like to see him interview Steve Hawkings.

Maybe LMH can interview him, then we can hear two robots "talking" to each other.

Didn't "madman" get burned to a crisp when he jumped thru his high voltage contraption?  8)

I hope he didnt get turned into a human french fry  :o

Mel Waters would be a fun guest. Although his last interview was a bit far fetched

...a special open line for jealous, washed-up, clueless radio hosts who survive on turmeric.

In no particular order...

Michio Kaku
Roger Stone
Dan Akroyd
Linda Moulton Howe
Kevin Mitnick

henge0stone

1. Graham Hancock, especially after the whole Zahi walking out of his lecture recently.

2. Linda Moulton Howe

3. Open Lines and or Ghost to Ghost

4. Anyone who knows anything about Mars 1 mission

5. someone from NIDS

Who

1.  George Noory
2.  Tom "Do you expect a good show every night?" Danheiser
3.  George Noory's veterinarian (the one who gives medical advice to George's callers)
4.  George Noory's anti-vaccine t-shirt peddling osteopath from Cleveland

Each guest segment would be followed by two hours of open lines so Art and his audience could react to what they had just heard.

John Rhodes: To my knowledge he has only done a show with Art once and that was on Dreamland in the mid 90's. He's gotten boring in recent years mostly due in part to Jorch asking him the same old same. I think Art could pull a good show out of him.
