I'm no rocket scientist, but I'm pretty sure that legally immigrating to most civilized countries on Earth is a "mess" to deal with.  No need for us to sit here and act like it's unique to America, but the good news is that in America, if you have about $3,000 and balls of steel, you can just pay to be smuggled in through Mexico!

Here in "The South" we've got 'stash houses' full of people smuggled over waiting to be sent to their final place.  It's an entire underground enterprise, a gigantic black market vacation industry of sorts.  The US immigration laws are ridiculously relaxed if you do it the "easy" way...  hell, you may even make some new friends or make a few thousand bucks shoving condoms full of heroin up your ass.

Once upon a time there was a forum; on this forum everyone agreed that George Noory sucks and Art Bell is the real deal.  One day, George Noory showed up, and was nearly eaten by bloodthirsty piranhas.  One day Art Bell showed up, and heart beats skipped all across the forum.  There was the great Dark Matter of 2013, and there was much rejoicing.  Art quit Dark Matter, and much butthurt was experienced. 


A podcast about the forum about these radio shows was started, and there was partying.  George called the podcast twice... Art called once... and many asked, "Is this real?"


BellGabbers still don't dig Dave Noorie, but thrive in the excitement of Midnight In The Desert with Art Bell starting on July 20th, 2015.  There is much talk and delicious speculation of high strangeness to come.

For those who hate big government, there are some things that only government can do, like going after VW for their phony low pollution diesel scam or polluting industry (especially the clean up).  There is also the phenomena of people moving from state to state.  If benefits are much better in one state than another we see populations migrating to that state. 

I think we need a combo of socialism and capitalism.  Governments with that setup seem to work best.  Strict socialism seems best in small homogeneous populations.

It's funny that you say that. Trump's supporters have this exact attitude towards the so-called special interests that they believe are controlling and corrupting the government. It's an amorphous group, but your particular bad guys are included.

Trump is able to convince his supporters that he doesn't owe anyone anything and that he will make radical change, change that will save the country from its special enemies. All he asks in return is that Americans make him the most powerful person in the world, CIC of the world's most lethal military. And they say...okay, it's a deal.

The problem is that it's a deal with the devil. It always is anytime you say "I'd give almost anything for X." What's unsaid is that not only do you want it, but you want it now. (So does Trump.) Revolutionary, drastic change, not slow, steady, purposeful change. That's the danger, massive power to do drastic change. The country isn't ready for that (and never will be) but Trump doesn't care.

People are now convinced that other people with patience are just fools and that patience is no longer a virtue. I disagree and hope that Trump and all like him who make citizens sink to their level get their just desserts. Failure and oblivion.

Someone a few pages ago posted a line item rant that was 10 pages looong in reaction to my words. Seems pretty visceral and angry, I suppose I've struck a nerve, which is good, maybe people might wake up and start really paying attention to the election and start thinking for themselves. Trump wants to beat up people he doesn't like and says so publicly, what a grand choice for a president who will have his finger on the button. Morons suckers, yup, give another money grubbing billionaire who is only out to exploit you, give him all the power, after all, after he's had sex with his own daughter, he can have sex with your's, it would be an honor, right?

Just to be clear, I'm not mad at art over Trump, I couldn't really care the less who he selects because Art just isn't that bright, no, I am mad at Art for saying a fuck you to his fans and making up stories and excuses which seem pretty damned obvious are fictitious, his handling of the issues is telling of just how unlikely things happened as he's claiming. I seriously believe if Art's family were in danger he'd have hired guns and told the world about it, but as far as we know, he hasn't, certainly didn't tell the world at least.

I'm simply weary of the huckster gaming, and his shameless promotion of a horrible amateur sitting in his show. Nearly every night she miss speaks/miss spells words that are very common and someone reporting news damn well should know. Nearly every night she adds an affect to her voice thinking it sounds "cool" when it's simply comical. At least Art talked in a normal voice, I don't trust individuals that feel they need to put an affect in their speach, it's patently false and deceptive and childish. She sucks, plenty of folks here might even be better qualified than her, but I'm willing to gamble that Art got her on the cheap, and it's all about cheap with Art, he's always shunned professional help and professional operation.

The one great think about Bell leaving MITD is that I found out about other similar networks that I now listen to.

As for subscribing to Heather Wade with the enticement of hearing Bell occasionally, what happened? Is the threat of the stalker over?

Art Bell you are like an old girlfriend where things were great once but we both have changed and it just doesn't work for either of us anymore. There are far more interesting people to listen to for free than paying for Heather Wade, Howard Hughes, Bateman, The Birneses, etc.
