Antebellum
I don't know why. I just don't like that word.

How do you feel about antipasto?

Ah man, ditto.

"Just sayin'"

Used after someone says something that they probably should have just kept to themselves.

When public figures reference the "bad guys" in serious law enforcement / military discussions.  I mean c'mon, what is this Sat. morn. Lone Ranger time?  "We're goin' after those bad guys!"

I think they're going for more of a Power Rangers meets The Transformers type thing. ;)

Taaroa

"and that's a good thing"

Do a google news search for this if you want to be disgusted.

Aks instead of ask.  Actually, any ebonics or other dumb lazy dialects

That one exspecially gets me! >:(

Me too but I just relax with a nice expresso.

Rix Gins

comptroller (A big thanks to Uncle Duke.)

Found this in a google search

''The controller and comptroller titles refer to the same position, which is the person responsible for all accounting operations of a business. The controller title is more frequently found in for-profit businesses, while the comptroller title is more commonly found in governmental and non-profit organizations''.

Zenman

Realitor.

Especially when realtors say it.

How 'bout EX-SCAPE?!

That too! I find a significant number of people like to drop an x in words that start with es.

"Supposably"
Yes, that really "gets my goat."

Except that Supposably is a word, just as supposedly is also a word.

Supposably-to assume (something), as for the sake of argument or as part of a proposition or theory:
"Suppose the distance to be one mile."

Supposedly-according to what is generally assumed or believed (often used to indicate that the speaker doubts the truth of the statement).
"the ads are aimed at women, supposedly because they do the shopping"

One of my ex-girlfriends used to say "supposably" as did her friends.
It was a short relationship, she supposably gave good fellatio, to the entire floor of her apartment building, supposedly.

The response ''I'm good'', when is asked how they are.

Taaroa

Legos instead of Lego and Waldo instead of Wally.

Comptroller was/is supposed to be pronounced 'controller,' from what some say. It was a pet-peeve of Bob Bullock I seem to recall.

The response, "You're good" when I provide slightly negative feedback, or excuse myself to navigate.

The question "How are you?", when people don't want to hear how you really are, so you are forced to lie and say "I'm good."

I'm going with ''fine''

Can you say (fill in the blank)?

I'd like to strangle the person who first popularized this.

Peace, out.

Ugh.  Please just leave already.
