I will pledge the other ninety-nine cents for the first 100 new subscribers you get in July.

Very cool of you, GS.

No, subscriptions.

Yes to subscribe, it's paypal

FYI
Second Harvest Heartland can use paypal as well. If you love the cause, you can do a monthly donation too

That's cool.  Nice idea, GS.  Have you ever toured your local foodbank?  There are many of them in the US that are amazing places (lots of community organizations, usually with a central "hub" in the city.)  It is interesting to see the programs that some of them offer.

***I have never had the opportunity to tour the Minneapolis one, though...

I was going to offer to match them all but then I figured Bart Ell would start some viral marketing campaign and I would end up being a client right after being a donor. That dude is a marketing genius.

Second Harvest Heartland is a great organization. It's all volunteers so there is no overhead. All money donated goes to food donations.

I've hit hard times in the past, and 2nd Harvest Heartland helped me out tremendously by giving me food to feed my boys. They also help families find sources and pay utilities too.

One day the truth will come out and we will find out that he holds the top position in the top marketing company on Madison Avenue and has been here to get his kicks as a "social experiment".

Very nice to hear.  I have a bit of a past in the "not for profit" sector, and there are many charities that are excellent- and many that are not.  Most places like second harvest are on the "good" list, and many almost end up as a hub as they are often the first to see families.  Many times, other agencies get food from them- so they have a vast network.

Some get too big and I have some criticisms- but many are truly community oriented and are focused and sincere.  If 2nd harvest is run mostly by volunteers, I would imagine they are still on the side of passion...

Excellent 'Giants' segment BTW.
All Jason's info is verifiable.
(I'm kind of into the subject.)

I used to have two kids sponsored in Children International. One in Colombia and one in India.  They both aged out so I keep an eye out for ways to make a difference with the little bit I have.

That is one thing I will give credit to Noory for. He ran a C2C campaign for Children International. He sponsored one so I sponsored two and challenged him to sponsor another but I never heard back from him. I have written to him and Lisa and Tommee to run that campaign again and did not receive a reply.

Thanks... Now your going to send me down a rabbit hole to see if standard agricultural wire was used in WWI trench warfare, or if it was somehow modified...

What is a dogman? Was something about that in a Seinfeld episode?

I could tell he was on point and credible somehow.

I'm looking forward to Dr. Brandenburg on Mars on Friday as well. I have not found any space whistleblowers that I have found to be credible except Brandenburg - got in a debate with expat about isotopes, so we are into the nitty gritty and equations when it comes to proof.

He has said a few other things that I have heard through other sources, so either they are true or the Lawrence Livermore lab was infested with scuttlebutt.

I’ll save you time. They made their own out of what ever barbed wire was available.
