Oh just fuck off Paper boy. You suck shit. I'm tired of you slamming Art when you are not even a fan - why are you even posting here? Go suck Dave's dick.
I think I love you

That would probably be my strategy as well, except I'd use a tranquilizer rifle because, y'know, the whole murder thing.

I'd probably be dressed in black with a night vision scope on the thing, because a dude would light up like a Christmas tree in infrared, in that cool desert night air.  And all that creeping around - he'd be a sitting duck.

But he only shows up once per month or two.  That's a Lot of roof time, especially when you have a wife and child, both of whom would probably be as freaked out by Daddy hanging out on the roof with a rifle every night as they are about being stalked by some freak.  And the cowardly weasel seems to only show up -during the broadcast-, and few have mastered the esoteric art of bilocation.

Of course, a retired special forces guy with the right tech could probably catch the rat punk within a few weeks, but that's both costly and intrusive.

I am nowhere as rich as Art, but if people were doing those sorts of things to me, I would be getting a second mortgage and taking the full tilt boogie approach to varmint tranquilization. Nothing else would make a whole lot of sense. Wait and see what happens, thats a victims mentality.

You would think that if remote viewing were a thing somebody would provide the relevant info to put the drop on the dude. I'm not holding my breath. Well I was, but I let it out now.

I get your point, but, regular old video surveillance would work. The best defense is a good offense.

I fail to understand how night vision, video cameras, and AR-15's couldnt have resolved this.

I think I have come to the conclusion that I dont care anymore who is on the radio.  Think I am going to get a nature sound app for my phone and fall asleep to it and patiently wait for the zombie apocalypse .

He'll be back sooner than we all think, TigerLily.  He'll work things out.  His initial message "not tonight or any night" was in haste and he was under pressure.

Great point. I wish some of the overreacting geniuses on the site would take a Valium, or preferably just refrain from posting all the negative inferences.

Guys remember the very first thing that started this whole fiasco was the shadow person that Art saw in his studio. This stalker guy could be the shadow dude and it uses shadow bullets, shadow rifle, shadow getaway car, etc.

I reckon that would explain the lack of physical evidence on scene upon arrival of Nye County Patrol, and the fact that subsequent patrols did not find anyone. Remember how fast the shadow dude moved? Art said in a millisecond it was beside him, then suddenly behind him.
Just like the showdown between Pootie Tang and Dirty D

Actually the person who is "asinine" is the person who thinks that "Art Hangs It Up for the Last Time" doesn't mean retirement. You must enjoy polishing your rose-colored glasses. Or your turds.

Yeah it's ridiculous. What does he think "Art Hangs It Up For The Last Time" means? Or "I am sorry to have to announce this but I will not be on Tonight or any other night..."  Seems like someone is trying to backpedal here. Hanging it up "for the last time" obviously means to retire. But already he's back teasing people the next day that he didn't mean what he posted and that he might be back. Or might not. Or might be back in some form guesting on Redacted's show for however long it lasts. Or he might not. Or he might take the chocolate ice cream. Or maybe the vanilla. Perhaps the strawberry tastes nice. No, I think he's changed his mind and would like a sundae. No nuts on it please. Well, maybe after all he does like nuts. Nuts would be nice. Actually maybe no nuts. A cherry might taste good. No, no cherry.

Yet another in a series of asinine comments

LMAO....anger?...really? ...you obviously can't comprehend the written word without your own personal bias. And actually I have been in worse position than he has, however that is none of your business.

I was trying to get all you ass kissing hero worshipers both to see what is being pulled this time and to try to make some suggestions on how maybe Art can get himself out of the latest fiasco he has gotten himself into...that's all.

I am WAY beyond anger when it comes to Art Bell...maybe not beyond frustration, but certainly beyond anger.

It's really more of a great sadness really...that such a great innovator and talent can continually doing the same things over and over again to his own demise...tragic really.

That said, I'm pretty much done with this lunacy. Life is short and precious and certainly worth more than spending any more time on having been jerked around again by Art Bell.

whatever

Really? Insulting!?!

What is insulting to ME is Art's denial of him quitting by playing semantic games by saying he never said he was "retiring" yet hanging up the mike and not being on tonight or any night means something different.

Jesus, your post are so loaded with anger. Walk a mile in his shoes, get shot at a couple of times and then make some posts about how you would have done things differently.

it was just one persons opinion of what art needs to do IF art wants to save the show and network. You can tell that by the words such as "I think" and "if".  The poster didnt tell him what to do, he said:

There was far more baggage to the quote you referred to. You cherry picked the less innocuous parts. The inferences made were quite insulting.

OK...here is what I think Art needs to do if he has any hope of getting out of this fiasco, if he really wants to ever be on the air again.

He needs to go on the air tonight and apologize for over reacting to a very stressful situation for him and his family...that his words and statements were made under extreme stress and duress....plead for understanding.

He needs to apologize to his audience, his staff and all his affiliates, Keith, DMDN etc., for over reacting to a very bad and stressful situation in his life. He needs to iterate a plan that he has both to keep his family safe and to ensure that he is a viable entity that will continue the show and/or state clearly that he is taking a leave with a plan until this situation is resolved ( which is what he should have done in the first place IMHO)'

Not sure how he can recant naming Heather as the new host/hostess of MITD.

Then he needs to do tonight's show, perhaps with Heather as an add on...the whole show.

Without this, he is toast with absolutely no credibility or any way to make this right,

Art has the ability to get security for tonight and/or get his girls out somewhere safe in Vegas or elsewhere and/or both.

This is a really tough hole for Art to crawl out of this time by his own doing sadly, however if he doesn't do it tonight, it's over IMHO.

So Art, IF you are not really retiring?...you really want to do MITD...you are really not hanging up your microphone and you will or won't be back today, any day, anytime or whatever....well tonight is the night to make it all right ( I hope ) .

Who died and appointed you arbitrator of the Universe? The man will do whatever the hell wants.

Which minority is that?

The one that sees what is presented to be accepted at face value, but sees glaring holes and illogical courses of action; or the one that accepts what is presented at face value and believes it unquestioningly?

I was referring to people that make all sorts of asinine posts without truly knowing what all the facts are, which, seems to me, is just about everybody.

Disinformation is a powerful tool.

Seems to me that a vocal minority seems to think that they know all of the motivations behind why things have unfolded the way they have. I have but one simple suggestion, since no one really knows anything: Keep pie hole closed if you dont have anything constructive to say.

It was like watching Highlander. I've been listening to paranormal radio for well over 20 years and
I haven't ever heard anything like that. Hoagland met his arch nemesis and they battled by trading increasingly crazy BS for two hours until Hoagland barely, just barely, eked out a victory. And then they were both just cranky and tired for a few minutes and the show ended.

He probably failed all courses that required  critical thinking. He most certainly has failed every eye exam ever administered. He continues to fail ever opportunity to be humble.  I cant think of a more unlikable radio host than RCH. Noory is superior because he makes no pretense about his abilities.

That is a great idea.
