You mean "blinders"...

I'm quite comfy knowing she's way the heck in over her head and a good deal of the blame for that goes to Art's not training her up in the business side of radio as her board skills developed.

That is a very good point.  About the business side of things.

She is in way over her head with the legal complexities here...she'll end up finding a lawyer that will milk her for everything, only to produce zero legal wins in an unwinnable case...

Thats why i thought maybe Andrew Basaigo.

Quick, get your livestream recorders going, here's another replay which is now NOT available in the now-non-existent archives! Gosh and golly, she's almost 50% replays by now... in a very short time on the air!

And she is only NOW getting a lawyer? I musta been psychic in my earlier post about her being more stupid and brazen than I could imagine... she's just verified that. Sigh.

When you've got god on your side you dont need a lawyer.

And now this... including a public post by smog which includes a do-not-distribute notice at the bottom. It's her own email! She's (you should forgive the allusion) leaking her own communications, such as they are! Sheesh!

"It's not fair," does not a legal argument make.

I personally think she's pretty dumb, and only hears and believes what she wants.  And no one other than Keith tells her otherwise.  What's her alternative, back to phone sex?

Actually, the way it works is each time you fall it gets worse, shes to old for the chicken ranch so basically its time for a cheap 'date'.

I suspect you're right, and I am sad to say i also suspect that if so, she is remarkably stupid, or not listening to legal advice (if she is getting any), or being given bad legal advice, or is delusional... or many or all of the above. Sad.
I think her lawyer is Andy Basagio, who has been damaged by some kind of radio wave beamed into him.

I think that might be where the confusion is for Heather.  I think she believes getting permission from Art or Airyn is all she needs, but if DMDN or Keith own the shows, and the name etc, then nothing Art or Airyn said to her would have any legal weight.

I would think she knows she cant have her old shows when she left DMRN because as Arts friend she had to be aware Premier C2C owned Arts old shows.  Im sure Art explained these things to her while they were in the cuckshed.  I can only surmise Heather is playing her audience as dumb, just as she did with her living situation, so that she may get pity and sympathy.  Maybe Paul and Ella would buy it, but i don't

The nun that was the principal of my grade school was truly enigmatic. She had this tuft of brown hair that stuck out the front but she was like 640 years old and it made no sense. A girl stole one of her headpieces while over at the nun's house. The hair was STAPLED on the headpiece. I've been emotionally scarred ever since.

All i need to know about nuns i learned from those italian nunsploitation movies of the seventies.  My parents kept me away from religion.

Hahaha.  I busted my Dremel bit! I bought Chinese bone, really hard compared to the domestic bone I used to get.  That should be a good thing...  Right?

I'm not steady enough to rasp/file for shaping without digging too hard.

Thanks for asking. Today's effort: Lame.
Hey man it does take effort.  I havent heard of chinese bone, i guess american bones just arent what they used to be.  Me, i get a few difrnt grades of sand paper glued on glass and just go slow.

It floored me that i applied for a job at the same station that Art worked at (the guy was later Michael Reagan's syndication chief yahoo).  Never knew he did radio in SoCal, let alone a few miles from where I live.

I bet he kept that on the down-low because of the sex party/porn connection...
Did you get that nut and saddle knocked out?  Sorry to change the subj.

Is trespassing on Area-51 considered a felony offence?  I can't see the federal authorities simply laughing it off after they've taken the trouble to post all those, "Stay out!  This Means You!  (Yes, really)" signs.  ???
I don't think Heather is all "there".   Shes not really activist material, i mean maybe as a publicity stunt she'd go to the edge, but to cross over would be stupid and encouraging others to do so sheer lunacy--we might lose paul and ella.  I would say if she actually did this, the govt is already aware of her claims and she'll disappear for a bit and maybe come back a bit simpler, more pliable, maybe we'd get a new stepford heather.

Serious question: Can someone who lives in America confirm or contradict something, please?  The limited information I have on this subject comes strictly second-hand, may be entirely wrong...and this isn't the sort of thing anyone who wants to be gainfully employed in the US can afford to get wrong.

I am saying this as an outsider looking in, but:  My understanding is that having an arrest record is a complete and utter no-no if you ever to plan to apply for a "serious" job in the US (by "serious," I mean a job that is not concerned with washing dishes or dumping garbage).  I was led to believe "have you ever been arrested" is a bog-standard question that all American employers ask and, should you answer in the affirmative, you are treated a lot differently (and not in a good way) than if you are able to answer in the negative.

(Apart from which, many, if not most, US employers will run a background check on you to confirm for themselves whether or not you have ever been arrested in an effort to keep their potential exposure to liability to a minimum.)

What I'm getting at here is: I don't think Heather fully understands what having an arrest record might mean to her future.  I do know that, in her own mind, she's going to host a podcast forever, but things do not always work out the way we thing they are going to and, frankly, I don't think she has thought this one through.

(I'm not sure she's thought about it at all, actually.)

On the other hand, I might have the wrong end of the stick, and that's okay (it would be a positive relief, in fact).  It's just that, while I enjoy poking fun at Heather, I have an uneasy feeling she is making an irretrievable mistake with this Area-51 thing in her frantic quest to "stay relevant."  The kind of mistake you look back upon years later and find yourself saying, "I wish I hadn't done that."

Is there a Yank or two who is willing to set me straight on this?

Basically since Europe sent America their religious nuts, poor, criminals, and malcontents we're kind of used to fuck ups over here.  Many of the politicians, business leaders are criminals themselves or will be by the time they've been in the job for twenty years.
But seriously it can be harder, but the jobs are dissappearing anyway.  The underground economy exists also.  Heck, anyone from Britian could probably find work here easily because your accent would make you sound intelligent and if you can bullshit you'll do fine.

If weirdness is out there it's probably going to find yours truly. Case in point: i'm driving on the highway this afternoon, speeding as usual but not excessively so. Traffic was starting to get thick and my brain just looks for the path of least resistance.  At one point the right lane became the fast lane but I can see it's changing ahead back to normal. So, I work my way back into the left lane and didn't cut anyone off in the process but I can see in my rearview a guy drive aggressively toward me, as if to say, That was my spot, asshole! The dude gets right up on my behind. He couldn't have been more than a foot or two from my back bumper. Normally, I don't like to fuck around and would just let someone like this pass but traffic was getting thick so fuck him! I apply the brakes to let him know to back the fuck off but it just makes him madder. I can see now that he has a flip phone up to his ear and appears to be talking to someone while yelling obscenities at me, no doubt. At this point I figure Fuck it! I want to see what this asshole looks like so I'm at least going to let him get up beside me. When I did the guy seemed to be wearing a police uniform and screaming at me to pull over. I was almost going to but I'm no amateur at this . I know that even if the guy is in an unmarked car they'll flash their hidden lights and turn the siren on briefly to get me to do that and it ain't happening with this guy. I just laughed at him. He swore a bit more at me and then started tailgating someone else. I figure perhaps it was an attempt at robbery or extortion. Thoughts?

We had an idiot flash his lights telling someone to pull over.  That someone was an off duty officer who called in this guys liscence, kept driving till he got to a safe place where his fellow officers arrested the fool.
There seems to be alot more fakes out there than there used to be.  You did right.  Oh and the cops said always pull over in a well lit place and ask for the officers ID!  Hell its getting like mexico over here.
