Thank you, but the bar for poetry is very low these days.  I warn you, I am about to limbo right under it.
I look forward to reading how low,
you can go

To All Our Faithful Listeners and Seekers After Truth,

The Christmas Spirit is pervasive at The Other Side Of Midnight and we have been anxious to give our faithful subscribers a BIG GIFT which has been in the works for months!

Yes - we are giving the loyal Club 19.5 members that have stayed with us during our recent hiatus, Richard C. Hoagland's latest and most anticipated work, just recently completed with The Imaging Team from the show. This gorgeous and pioneering new book, "The Hidden History of Mars: A War In Heaven" with a foreword by Dr. Joseph P. Farrell, chronicles the Human Race's Ancient History on the Red Planet with groundbreaking information that has largely been hidden from the world until now. Members will receive their very own electronic copy of the book when it is released and have access to all the bonuses included!

Because it is Christmas and we are close to the book release, we excitedly planned a same-day show too quickly for the good station KIYQ, Las Vegas, to accommodate. So if you received a notice about a live show tonight - hang in there - it's on the way - just not tonight.

Merry Christmas! Happy Chanukah! Happy Kwanzaa!

Stay tuned...and remember: 3rd star on the left...straight on 'til morning...

The Other Side of Midnight Team

I never doubted you, Richard. Your true fans will always support you. Don't listen to the haters.

Oy vey.  Even Art is no longer trying to string people along with the phrase "stay tuned" or the promise of returning to the air shortly.  it is becoming an embarrassment.

Evidently Howard Hughes interviewed Hoagland. Haven't listened to it yet. Join my club and pay me for a couple of months and I will listen to it tonight. 😎

If it's that one from like a year ago, I never listened, but I remember some surrounding talk about how cantankerous Hoagie was during that appearance.

It's a new one Zeeb. He's on for less than the first half hour. Hoaxy is promising Obama will finally do the disclosure thing on January 1, which is 19.5 days before he leaves office. hahaha

The other half is with a Dr. Who actress. (sorry don't know her--never watched the show)

Where is the Hoagster when we need him most?  Kiss his ring and maybe Jorch will take you back.

That's one of those plastic spoons that come out of MRE bags.  I've said too much.

Good to know there's Chinese Take Out Food on Mars for when, ya know, we get there. ;D

Um, yeah.  *looks around too casually*  When we get there.

Wow, too bad I canceled a looooong time ago.  Look what I am missing.  I am totally underwhelmed.

What about those of us who celebrate 'Festivus?' What about us Hoagy?

His eyes start to water, his lips all a-quiver,
The doctor endeavored to palpate his liver.
"Why can't they just come here?" he peevishly cried,
"And I don't understand why I can't see inside."
He addressed this remark, with a wave of his hand,
To the door to the room from which he had been banned
For more than a month now, while she worked within
With several young men he suspected of sin.
"I told you this Christmas we'd be by ourselves
With no-one around, except maybe some elves."
At this hint of flirtation he quickly got ready,
Though his perfunct'ry toilet was grim and unsteady.
I pass over how they will spend Christmas Eve;
Their friends, tired of waiting, had started to leave
By the time they arrived, and it was a brief chat.
The rude waiter scowled; the champagne was flat.
On their quick trip home Hoagie asked her to drive
And he went straight to bed, now more dead than alive.

KIYQ's webpage is advertising Hoagie as "one of the greatest on air hosts".
Made me spit out my coffee and piss my pants.

You have a way with words! Excellent. Now I'm actually wondering if I recall RCH ever having theories about Santa (how else could elves work making toys year-round at the North Pole without a glass dome? How could reindeer, even ones domesticated as the Sami do, travel so well without some torsion/19.5, and how could Santa PRECISELY know when to deliver gifts in various time-zones without a Bulova Accutron!)
ps: god jul! Hope you are appeasing the Nisse tonight....

Haha of course, the julegrøt is on the stove!

There are conflicting accounts of the proper flavor.  This one says cardamom

and this one says almond (which I've always done before)

so to be safe I am putting both.  With a big lump of butter.

Riktig god jul til deg også!

Almond, but then again I'm a human. Better to err on the side of caution!
Here are some cards got. (One was a patent asking for giving funds but I will, a great museum and keeping traditions alive.)

Oh that is a good one; don't think I've seen it before.

OK the julegrøt is out.  There was a cat around earlier, so hopefully he will have his usual helper to keep the rats at bay.

Men rundt omkring står alle de små rotter,
og de skotter, og de skotter.
De vil så gjerne ha litt julegodter,
og de danser, danser rundt i ring.
