Didn't Art say and post that "he is no longer involved with the show?" Did he sell or license his likeness/name/endorsement or something (like how Jimmy Dean sausage can still be called Jimmy Dean even though he sold the operation off decades ago?) How is [Redacted}, Keith, etc allowed to use his name unless he consented or sold it? Or maybe, here  is a real conspiracy theory, there is no "Art Bell," but that name/personality was made up by Keith and copyrighted and the former host was some other guy using that name (like there have been many Lassies, Darrins, Bozos, etc.)

Fetching his quotes verbatim, including a question I asked. The question to rights over his archive shows wasn't answered, so they are probably like his C2C shows, they are played at the will of the owning network - or not as in the case of MITD. The rest is a matter of speculation as to whether he was ever invited back (outside of the one March 2016 show) or if he declined when invited. Heather has on air declared an open invitation, at least over the air which is not the same as an in person offer and signing anything and transferring the stream and other things that would make that happen.  Was he making nice to get back on the air? Is there a reason Keith and Heather want to keep him off the air? Who knows at this point.
15 April 2016
“I speak with Keith every now and then, I advise Heather in ways she can get better at what she loves doing and beyond that have zero part of the Network. I have offered to fill in as needed, that's it.”
03 April 2016
I have no connection to the Network any longer. Yes I try to help Heather as she learns the ropes but that's all.
22 Feb 2016
“Let's see, again for the record, I do not make a penny from the current MITD and have not since the day I went off the air, nor will I. I help Heather with advice.”
27 January 2016
I did not allow Heather to do anything, as I pointed out I have no official position at the Network at all, none.

Art
Dyna-X: This explains a lot. Many were under the impression that you were a co-owner with Keith. So do you want us to understand that Heather has worked for the Network and not technically for you since August specifically to support MITD as producer and that your sole interest in the Network since it started was solely to be a host for MITD? Do you own the rights to your MITD hosted shows?

Art: That is correct, I have had zero authority or financial interest since the day I left.

So apparently we're supposed to believe it's Keith's and Heather's fault he hasn't been filling in?

Is this guy even capable of taking responsibility for his actions?

Thing I remember and also consider a bit weird was the inflatable punching bag Bozo. Was this licensed by Bozo? Oppsy, Capt. 20, or even a satanic scheme by late night horror hosts to get kids to hate Bozo? Weird. Romper Room looking back was a bit weird. Actually, almost all "kid" programming is frigging weird thinking about it!

Probably both statements are true, just a matter of leaning one way or the other in ways we are not privy to. Either he's allowing his name to be used as a favor to Heather (which strains credulity) or doesn't really give a crap (slightly more believable)
Arts playing the clown either way.

I had one of those Bozos. I'm not sure who got the money though. As a little kid I was a fan of Mr. Rogers, even though my older brother would tease me about watching it. Even if he hadn't I couldn't deny nor shake that there was something innately strange about it. I suppose the first and most obvious question that comes to mind is Hey, where's his wife? I mean, here's this middle aged established man with his own house and positive ties to his community but no Mrs. Rogers?! He just wants to come home from work, take his shoes off, put his slippers on and then hang out with us kids?! Sorry, but today this would scream obvious pedophilia. Sorry, Shay.

It was another memorable night on Heather's internet streaming podcast. I was on pins and needles all weekend worrying about Heather and the mean words DB Stearns unfairly wrote about her. The pressure she must have be under, no support from Art and vultures circling. Would she cancel her show?

So happy now!  .. Heather and DB Stearns are internet streaming podcast pros. Maybe Keith helped them heal any wounds?

He might be working with RCH. I saw a guy who looked like him driving by  a stone, mulch, and dirt place. Though just earlier listened to him with an somewhat incredulous Art in 2002 about him talking about nuclear Mars missions happening soon (due to budgets)  (though also would "damn sure works" also with chemical explosions. Because RCH saw a video.) Putt-putt Mobile with a lead shield. A random mp3 from the "archive" that popped up.
