The cost of putting humans on the Moon could be 5$ and NASA couldnt do it because they never did and never will. It is the 2nd biggest hoax ever committed by humans.

you a birther too?

Is this the guy who, like a month or 2 ago, claimed he had evidence of aliens, charged people for access, and then put on a BS presentation?

With photographic evidence not being counted anymore, I guess the only thing left is for the aliens to show up and abduct Obama.

Good guest tonight. Intelligent, engaging and well spoken. Good booking.

Photos can still be confirmed or exposed as fakes - it just takes a lot more expertise than it once did.  Things are moving fast though.

So nice to hear the calm, steady voice.  ;)

Hell, I cost my parents 250k just for college. What do you think you spent per kid?

Giving kids 'advantages' is expensive. Summer camp - classes of whatever kind at whatever level - sports teams - good after-school programs - orthodontist of a kind that would have been considered primarily cosmetic when i was a kid but now everyone has to have perfect, blinding white teeth (if you need such a thing) and yes, college is pricey.  My kid had all those things.  I still don't quite see a million (he lived at home his first two years and we did state schools - but he also spent a few month in China) but maybe I'd just rather not think aobut it.  :-X

Michael Aquino, eh?  Oof!  Satanism and (alleged) pedophilia.  This will be an interesting show.

okay, that's it - I will have to stay up again tonight.

It'll be fun listening to Art question and scrutinize all of Hoagie's alleged findings when he is a guest. Hoagland tends to take over the whole interview when the other guy(s) has him on which will never happen with Art.

Yes. And in all honesty I am surprised by Art's support of this guy.  But who knows why?

Well - this is obviously a matter of my not paying attention.  sorry for the kefulffal and thanks for your reply.

FYI to others who may wonder about details - this is the PM i just sent to cweb.

QuoteYes - I'm familiar with UMass IT - and worked for the college of computer science there until recently.  You're correct I have no reason to trust you(since I do not know you)  and as I said - it was my fault entirely - as I am far from computer illiterate - even on the 'grey hat' side. And, you are correct I should have noticed the check box myself.

i do any downloads i pass on from my own server - or from Dropbox.  i foolishly assumed that if there were a problem it would be mentioned in your post, and you assumed we'd be alert and taking care of ourselves - as well we should.

Oh well - stuff happens.

Thanks for your reply.

BTW - Malware-bytes premium a couple of reboots - uninstalling Chrome clearing all Chrome info and reinstalling fresh then reinstalling AdBlock worked. ( got the premium on a trial basis - but after this i will pay when the trial runs out!  The freebie may work and i have used it before - but i like the flexibility of the premium.)

Yes, an interesting man to say the least. I even read his book about T E Lawrence on the strength of his appearances with Art.

I need to hunt that down though the library system.  The copies left for sale are expensive and i haven't found an e-reader version.

I've listened to the first hour and it's a classic case of the UFO guy who doesn't seem interested in engaging with anyone, just throwing out all of his 'research' at maximum speed. Abductions must be the dodgiest area of ufology anyway because it relies so much on the word of the abductee. The fact that it isn't totally unlistenable is down to Art doing his hardest to slow the guy down and have a conversation. I always shudder a bit these days when a UFO type comes on - they are such hard work, and I can't help feeling that the whole ETH thing is played out anyway. I'd be more interested in hearing some alternative theories about what is going on, other than the usual ones about little guys in saucers.

Yeah, this is why i miss John Mack.

Nothing new here..The company I used to work for would do the same. Pretty sad they would reach out to the engineers to get us to call in because they had used all of their producers-editors up as voices. Listeners-viewers are not so gullible. I however would not participate, as it seemed somewhat wrong. I worked for one of the BIG three for a lot of years.

I'd get a kick out of this job.  I'd do it in a heartbeat.  Wrong?  Well, i see your point but it's entertainment after all - the lines blur.  Art DOES have actor-called, even if he doesn't pay them. They call, of their own accord to do their 'schtick.' JC is a prime example. He uses open lines like 'open mic' nite at the stand-up club. Nothing will make me believe that guy (funny as he is) is the real deal.

Once Art got him to slow down it was fine. Art is the master! I'm not used to hosts asking for some evidence here and there, as opposed to just letting a guy spew all night. Huge upgrade to that other show with that other host.

Art  IS the master, an utterly unique talent. But, that guest was a challenge.  It was obvious from how many times Art told him straight out to 'slow down' (Art can be less blatant and often uses his special brand of finesse rather than coming right out with it) and how many of Art's exasperated chuckles that said 'okay- I give up.'

Still, I've no idea who could have handled it better! He did bring the guy in for a landing in the end, and didn't just tell him 'thanks, good bye' during a break.
#107
okay - who else thinks that the guest is so speedy he wasn't even listening to the caller?
#108
What is this 'download' vs 'abducted' stuff?  I missed something essential.

Art's the cat - the guest's the mouse.  Nature will have her way.

Well DANG! if you ask ANY politico with half a brain and you ask them 'have you been sworn to secrecy about X" they will answer 'If i had I could not tell you.' So - if this speed talking guest asked Cheney the question worded the way he said  - he gave the guy no choice.

No, not a Cheney fan - just frustrated with having my brain bounced off walls.
#116
my goodness but this man talks FAST.

I've enjoyed older recordings of LMH  - but in the past few years even her voice was sounding old and tired. But - she sounded much better talking with art and I found myself paying attention,
