The northern white rhino is on the brink of extinction.  The last male is in failing health and there are only two females left.  There is some hope.

Scientists hope to save the northern white rhino from extinction by using southern white rhinos as surrogates to carry northern white rhino embryos and give birth. The in vitro process would be conducted using sperm from dead rhinos that is stored in Berlin and eggs extracted by surgery from the females at Ol Pejeta, according to the conservancy.

I watch some scopes where people use The Spirit Box.  It just sounds like radio stations coming in to me.  It also seems to me to be an audio form of pareidolia.  Yet on occasion,  there does seem to be some form of legitimate message or response to questions.  I'm inclined to say it is 95% bs but 5% real.

Now I do have this cool app on my android called Ghost Radar Connect.  It spouts out words on occasion allegedly from the other side. Because of some the responses I've had,  I'm convinced it is legitimate.  Like one time I was showing the app to a friend at his house and the app said "fall" and across the room, a broom fell immediately afterwards.  No one was near it.  I've had other responses that seem to confirm its legitimacy.

Read a couple articles from noted black economist and onetime Rush substitute host Walter E. Williams about secession and our slave-holding founders.  Of particular note is that John Quincy Adams favored secession at one point.  Also Ulysses S. Grant was a slaveholder.  Anyway, the point of one of the pieces is that secession was a viable option within our Constitutional framework and secessionists were merely following in the footsteps of the original founders who rebelled against England.  It is funny how some folks in our country venerate the Founding Rebels and eagerly tar the reputations of the Confederate Rebels.

I'm not here to justify slavery as it has been and always will be an evil institution but I do believe that states have a right to secede if those in the federal government have stopped considering the interests of said states when setting policy.  The Founders thought so too.  So stop disrespecting Confederate monuments and  stop rewriting American History.

A last thought, here are some select lines from a Wikipedia entry about Nathan Bedford Forrest  about how he evolved from someone who was racist into someone that demanded equal rights for blacks.  Think about this when you suddenly get an urge to support the destruction of monuments.

Video of a man, who had been shot in the face, claiming to work with Lucifer as he walked around a Brazilian hospital has led people to speculate that the man is “possessed by the devil”. Another man can be heard reciting prayers in the background.
The incident took place in Miguel Couto Municipal Hospital, a public hospital in Rio de Janeiro on Monday.

Noticiandopb reports that the man was shot in the cheek. The video shows him wandering around in the corridor with his body contorted either in pain or perhaps, as news site CanalR1 claims, from the effects of drugs.
