UMADBRO?

The man featured in your avatar has endorsed Romney, my friend.
I can distinguish actors from roles.  My avatar is from a role.  Maybe you should look in a phallustionary.

And to b_dubb and MV, my first clicking on that link took me to Ruteger, no BS, b_dubb..

You've been absent for weeks, only to return and create a storm of fuckery. Why?

prove it

This is just a message board, you can do your own research if you like.  Unless we are all going to start having everything we post annotated, indexed, footnoted and peer-reviewed.

You might want to start with Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, then move on to the banks - here's a link to start you off.  I don't know who these people are, it came up on a quick google search, looks about right though.

the fact that Romney is ahead of the Obama fund raising by $50 million +++ would seem to indicate otherwise

i think you need to take your abacus in for maintenance

My sincere advice to McPhallus:  don't read my posts.
Isn't there an "ignore" feaure in here..?  I admit that I'm ignorant about that... Just don't read my stuff, Son of Dick.   You called me "arrogant" a few weeks ago; that implies that you let me get under your Phallus skin.  I really don't want to be there.   Just don't read my stuff.

...better yet: this is a political thread..... McPhallus, tell me how I SHOULD write in a political thread; OR tell me why I should NOT write in it.

i think that what people find objectionable about the way you conduct yourself here is how you accused Republicans of being racist.  you may have intended to include people on this board in that unfortunate generalization and you may not have.  but that's pretty much the kernel of corn on top of the shit storm.  but in general you tend to make personal attacks with people you disagree with (at least that i've seen).  i think if you tried to stay on topic instead of letting things get personal you'd have success in general and make your point a lot more effectively

coaster

Two people with the exact same political views could have a conversation, and still an argument would somehow break out. Thats politics. Pointless. The insults and semi-racism in this thread is kind of disappointing.

I'll give zircon this much: he writes "democratic party," instead of the de rigeur way it's said by the Repubs: "DemocRAT party."  A Frank Luntz specialty.
I know you Repubs and b_dubb will hate me for it .... the Nazis produced films over laying and equating Jews with RATs... like the DemocRAT party: overlay it and say it, baby!!  Put them old people and vets and nig....sorry, I was just ahead of the game. SOCIALISTS !!, (yeah, that's the new word) , .... in concentration camps
Again with the demonization.
Get a new tactic.
Hopefully one that includes making coherent points.

Democrat has the word RAT in it, therefore Republicans are Nazis.
This is why no one takes you seriously, not even here.

Thanks.  I am not trying to stay "on topic" any more than the assholes you think I should kiss in here.
I never try to make anything personal other than what's required to address the dumb fucks who pop up in here.  You may disagree that they ARE "dumb fucks."  But you can't diasgree that a guy should address the dumb fucks he sees...

Yeah, uh.. don't corporations generally vote Republican to assure less taxes and regulations? Isn't tax cuts for the rich and deregulation the ultimate panaceas for the Republicans? Don't know where he's coming from with that, but his posts usually can be summed up as "it's the left's fault."

you might actually be able to reach people with your opinions if you were more civil.  instead you polarize others against you.  even those with similar views.

You should write to the RNC to tell them to save their money.  They pay millions to get these sound bits out via the radio Repubs and any talking head that gets on real interview shows.
You apparently have discovered that it's not real.

I checked your link and it has far more contributions going to republicans than democrats.
In fact, republicans had 2 to 3 times the contributions of democrats.

I think you read the graph wrong.

How about all that money that went to Goldman Sachs from this administration? Government => Banks (billions of taxpayer dollars). Is this administration "republican"?

b_dubb

I am not sure Zircon.
I just looked around the site at http://www.opensecrets.org/industries/summary.php?cycle=2008&ind=F03

I then made a quick table by sector-but I didnt put much more time in it than that.

Goldman Sachs isn't even listed so they are probably using a fake name for their donations.

Harmness

You are not paying attention to the quote on the masthead of the forum, sir.

Like the ones the DNC uses to wash the real money flooding in under the table and over the transom from the corporate cronies? As well as those gargantuan international (need I say "illegal"?) contributions? Well, at least the amounts of overseas $ they bother to declare and have to wash, which is a pittance compared to the dark monies ponied up by George Soros and his and Neo's friends in the international brigade.

Zircon

Sardondi, perhaps you'll agree with me in that all of these "elected" officials and "choices" we're offered are folks who have already passed muster, taken a knee, kissed the ring and taken an oath of fealty to the world's masters? To think the people, and I think collectively we're a bunch of sheeple/village idiots, are going to be allowed to direct where this nation goes is a complete folly. A ruse perpetuated by the true masters of earth - bankers and corporatists.

Juan

I'd like to believe this "masters of the earth" stuff.  I don't doubt that there are people who want to be such, maybe even believe they are, but I don't see earthlings being controlled very well.

Like the GOP isn't doing this? They're the ones who have fought to overturn bans on corporate / international donations, and transparency.

Is it okay when Sheldon Adelson does it but not for scary boogie man George Soros? Do right wingers check under their beds at night for Soros?

I have no way to gather evidence for that sort of thing. If I did have a way, I would probably be an award winning journalist or the victim at the start of a John Grisham novel.

Thanks UFO Fill - an awesome video !!! Ha! Ha! Ziz, you nailed it. Could this be how "The Apes Arise" begins? I'd expect, and not videoed, that bananas would quickly be flying from the trees onto this exuberant ape - uga!,uga! screech !!!

This forum is awesome in my opinion and I really enjoy discussion/raging etc. with each and every one of you - including Shockley believe it or not.

Thanks Zircon, and I hope you still feel that way after you see what I wrote for you in another thread just a few minutes ago.   On the positive side, regarding you, I can certainly say that you epitomize something that, if I was just railing in here, people would say I was making up.  But no:  your presence allows me to point to "the real deal" and I thank you for that  ::)

Now, for the rest of you,  I'm showing a truce flag.
I have actually decided to make a sincere effort to be nice to you guys who always swing mean right in these political threads.

Sure, I *could* just avoid the political threads in this site, but ~ hey, let's face it: it's like the proverbial car wreck, right?-- you have to look!  That's me in re political stuff.   The socio-political stuff I've seen in these pages has been gorier than a van wreck I saw up close at age 5 when my family were the literal first-responders, --you know, back before people worried about useless crap like seat belts ~~

So I'm going to stop being mean to you right-leaning guys; after all, you are so oppressed in this site.   It's been a rough last few years for you, what with your sense of racial entitlement being so threatened and the roving gangs of ni ...*ahem*... community organizers going around raping White girls under protection of Eric Holder --personally holding a machete (or was it a switchblade?) against the throats of the raging White fathers.   I know it has sucked.

Love and kisses, guys ~~  :-* :-* :-*

Maybe we can agree that Noory sucks and leave it there and in that thread.
