It certainly is looking like a success, despite the well organized and financed opposition of special interest groups and the righties.  Paradoxically, if that money and effort had been spent by the right wingers on actual improvements to healthcare, the ACA would not have been necessary in the first place.  It is decades of neglect, fiscal malfeasance, and general incompetence in the management of Red States that resulted in access to healthcare being a luxury for so many working class folks.
