This lays out the whole plan for British reunification with “the colonies” through the weakening of Christianity and the restablishment of British empiric rule through a socialist global government.

Happy!  Happy! Happy!  Richard Syrett is hosting; I had not looked at the website, so I had no idea who would be hosting.

Cleaning up the leaves and branches from the storm and listened to last nights. Syrett, who I like, mispronounced Gordon Micheal Scallion's name when "Mike the Millennial" called to ask about the infamous map. Interesting that a self-proclaimed Millennial would even know of GMS and also thinks Sylvia Brown, who Art banned, was legit.  Syrett said most psychics are frauds but they were good way to get callers on a slow night but defended one guest.  First guest, was interesting but nothing really new.  I'm glad he didn't suggest people watch the Nick Cage remake of "The Wicker Man."

Obviously Mike is not your average millennial.

Thanks for the reminder about his own show. Often he has guests that later he will get on the rare time he hosts C2C. I wish he would take over from Norry. Let Norry retire to do his variety road shows or whatever that ppv internet "tv" show. Syrett takes actual calls, has interesting/controversial guests, and pays attention to guests or callers.

Well what's the fun in that?

lol what a terrible guest. another in a long line of libertarian kooks who thinks he can legally opt out of the Constitution and doesn't have to pay taxes.  Ask Wesley Snipes how that works out.

Boring guest's rather

It is funny how these theories seem to pop up every decade or so. Though I agree in spirit with some of the guest's/caller's claims- Federal govt too large, civil asset forfeiture abuse, no knock warrants-  most of the legal strategies and theories mentioned won't work and can even get you into lots of trouble. Courts, IRS, etc have always claimed the theories bunk and often won't even allow them to be argued in court. When they "work" it is usually the case of a cop, party, or court "not wanting to deal with all the paperwork" and/or the person is "judgement proof."

I do admire the elaborate theories and conspiracy theories though.

They should have saved that guest for Willis or Noory.  It was a waste for Syrett.

Yeah Norry would just listen and ask some inane question. Connie would wonder how his "legal" maneuvers would impact weed and Bigfeet. And would ask if he goes "Bigfootin' " in West Virginia.

I like how Syrett said "FEB"- inside joke for us BGers?

Nailed it.  Especially "Bigfoot'n" Willis. :) I did a "Noory" and nodded-off before Syrett did his "Feb."

The blame goes to Syrett, he's the one who books the guests.

Some funny callers. By the way frequent caller "Walt" who sounds like a Chicagoan and criticizes the woo-woo guests has his own show on Sundays 8-9am called "Don't Bring Up God" on WAEB. Syrett praised his self-promotion. Da Bears.

I was going to mention the open lines callers as well.  My favorite was the last caller, the guy who claimed everyone in Virginia was a psychopath who wanted to murder anyone with red hair.

Ha!  There were definitely some weirder than usual callers.

Dr. MD MD

Syrett brings out the weird. Just another reason why he should be the fulltime host. Time for Noory to start pulling an Art. ;)

That was bizarre and hilarious! I thought the caller was going to rant about the gun issues going on in Virginia (rural counties versus the DC-suburb counties) but instead railed against the rural psychopaths who want to murder people with red hair and like to talk about way to torture and kill.

I hope the old lady can quit smoking. Interesting techniques were proffered by other callers as to how to quit. Also some guy from here who had some theory about "not opening your eyes all at once" upon waking, for some reason. And of course we got the usual rambling from Charles from Elgin, Texas- though he is right about Californians moving here and lots of people in Austin.

Syrett hosts again tonight.

I was half awake when I heard that one but it was still a "WTF moment." Something about being able to see into one's subconcious.  Syrett said he'd "have to try that."  ;D  ::)

Then there was some guy droning on about creationism and evolution, complete with biblical references.  My only thought with that one was Art would have shut him down pretty quickly.

I hate to think I'm driving on the road with these type of characters AND drunks.

Syrett's first guest last night may have been the least credible UFO author I've ever heard.  If the guy he wrote about, a retired USAF major, told him all the flat out wrong things he talked about with Syrett, then the guest did a very poor job of vetting the major's story before writing the book.  Anyone with a USAF background who heard that show last night would know the guy was full of shit.

Concur. And he claimed to some kind of hardnosed investigative reporter background? He seemed to just drone on with whatever tale was spun for him. Syrett had to prod him on timelines and details. As an aside I'm not impressed with Roswell. Go through it everyso often to ski etc. Not great but closest to TX n drive. And I know some good people went there but only folks I knew who went to NMMI were sorta kids who got in trouble and sent off to it. Back when some parents sent kids off for infractions. I recall one friend who got sent there. Not sure what happened to him.  The other was a local oddball who went there in the 50s.
