Speaking of WA state nuclear sites, I took these of the never-used Satsop nuclear facility.  It was built in the late '70s, I believe, and never powered up.  I love to go up there and take pics. It's an interesting place.

That would be a great topic for a show.  I watched a documentary on Hanford a few weeks ago.  That place is in bad shape.  I moved from Alaska to Spokane back in the '90s, and one of the first things I noticed were the high numbers of developmentally and physically disabled people there.  I spent a lot of time downtown, since I lived and went to school down there, and you'd see so many every day.  It was way out of proportion.  I've always wondered if they were "downwinders" from Hanford. 

The worst part is they used Hanford to make all those nukes.
