As far as family goes, when his sister was dying of brain cancer and then died, he seemed pretty unemotional about it. And when she died, I assumed he'd be gone for a week to be with his aging parents. lol nope, I swear he was back the next day and he's got 4 and a half hours to fill every night and a loyal audience, you'd think he'd want to tell the audience about his sister, a tribute ... but nope.

The aging parents, how often over the years have we heard that he has travelled to Detroit for the weekend to visit them? uh ...... like never. If he saw those 2 people twice a year I think it would be a lot. His mom is 90+ and do we ever hear of him visiting her?

His kids and grandkids are in St. Louis, meanwhile he spends as much time as possible in LA where he has no roots at all nor friends unless he's holding back on a big LA social life.

Dude is a droopy empty suit.

But he allows his mother to call in every once in a while.  I wonder if he sends her a Christmas card.

I’d love to hear him ask Cornelius those questions.

Good old Corny would happily answer them and then ask George for the 700th time if he could get in touch with Trump and arrange his pardon.  ::)

It smelled like shit.  I didn’t like being in the van with it.  It smelled like dead, fly infested water buffalo. And then when they burned the hair off of it I totally lost my appetite.

I didn’t eat any of this water buffalo jerky either.  There were swarms of flies on it.

I wanna puke just reading about it.  :P

In the last half hour with callers, a caller asked about interviewing Art Bell's son.
Noory mentioned he was interviewed a year or two ago by BELLGAB!

Ha!  I thought I heard that.  I was dozing off at the time.

I was out and wanted to grab a coffee before returning home. As I was leaving the lady who served me started barking at me that I was going out the wrong door, that I had to leave by the other door. I said, “but my car’s right outside this door. I’m not cattle.” And then proceeded to walk out the door I wanted to. Felt good! I think we’re all going to have to start pushing back on this Nazification of society. It’s getting ugly and weird now.

Similar situation for me.  Also similar reaction.  Had to go to the store to grab just a few necessities.  Went directly to where the products were located and was told by an employee that I had to go around the aisle to get to it.  Huh?  I said "It's right here in front of me!"  She responded that aisles are one way only and I had to go around to the next one, then around.  Mind you...NOBODY except for her was within 30 feet of me.  I disobeyed, took what I needed, did self-check out, and went out the door that I was told not to go out in...because like you, my car was parked near that entrance.  Fuck this shit.

40 MORE MINUTES OF ART BELL TRIBUTE.

The "tribute" was shit.  Noory played the same clips from his first tribute to Art; and fewer of them to boot.  Lame.

Regardless, he still sucks.  ;)  Maintain the focus on the suck...

You know, when he’s stays out of his own way and has a guest who really doesn’t need him the show sometimes isn’t half bad. Not that I intentionally put it on but there have been a few times when I’m just looking for something to listen to at that time of night and there was nothing else on. I heard decent shows this past year on Jim Jones and, more recently, on Jimmy Hoffa.

Ya know doc, I agree with you.  However, for me it's like a trap.  I think "this was pretty good!" and I expect it to continue.  Then I am quickly disappointed with the next several shows.  That's when I listen.  I spend more time looking at the upcoming schedule and shaking my head.  All the while knowing what is to come.  The show is typically background noise for me.  I just can't seem to press that 'off' button on my CCRadio SW.  ;)

Taking down the Xmas lights and decorations and listened to one of the "prediction" shows. Norry starting the New Years Right with many predictions coming for "FEB," one of the "experts" even copied him and used the term "Feb" once.

Ha! I noticed the increased use of FEB.  Now knowing a guest copied him makes it just as funny as it is pathetic.  C'Mon George!  Just say the damn word!  LOL!  Pick one pronunciation!  feb-roo-air-ee  or  feb-yoo-air-ee  You can do it George!  Anyway...

Hope everyone is having a happy JAN so far.  :D

;D ;D ;D   I can only laugh.  Absolutely ridiculous.

Let's try to keep this thread on the theme that Noory sucks, and is in fact a lazy, lying, arrogant, self-serving, egotistical dickhead.  Can we?   :D

Keith from Rochester called in to tell Dames that Russell Target had said on C2C that the Major's success rate was 'dismal' and 'lousy', urged Noory to play the tape of the show, and obviously followed up with an expletive which got edited out. Noory told Dames Keith would be banned from the show. Cudos to Keith for calling Dames out for the delusional, fraudulent charlatan he is.

Ha! I heard that.  At least Dames heard enough to admit to being a sociopath.  ;D

George taught us all something Friday night during open lines.  The context was from a caller who talked about an incident where a big rig had a tire come off on the highway and struck the vehicle he was a passenger in.  He described all the damage it caused to the vehicle.  The caller said it sounded like a bomb went off, then described more of the scene and stated that after his buddy gained control of the car they pulled off the road.  They saw the circular imprint on the side.  Noory yells out "You were shotgunned!!!"  The caller dismisses that and tells him it was the tire that caused it all.   After the call was over Noory said "those tires on trucks (referring to Semi's) are big!"

Okay, tires are big.

Now...let's look at the term "shotgunned."  Obviously one would think being shot at with a shotgun.  I did.  However Urban Dictionary says otherwise.

Shotgunning ~ When engaging in anal with a woman, the woman craps diarrhea on your penis, effectively spraying it on and around your penis, usually in the pubic region.

What would Ma Noory think?

Monsters & Cryptozoology / Invisible Dimensions

Sunday - October 28, 2018

Hosted by George Knapp

Guest(s): Nick Redfern, Christopher G. White
First Half: Author Nick Redfern joins George Knapp to discuss his years' long research into monsters and cryptozoology, and his journey to discover the truth about werewolves, lake monsters, giant cats, ghostly devil dogs, and ape-men.

Second Half: Professor Christopher White sees striking similarities between multiverse theories and spiritualist séances. He points to ways that both spiritual practices and scientific speculation about invisible dimensions are efforts to peer into hidden elements, and even the existential meaning of the universe.

I saw it last night.  As President Trump's biggest fan, The Pud, would have said, "you were spot on."  Just a bit too kind, though, but I guess that's your nature, Mr. Rogers.  ;)

In addition, I didn't care for the overall cinematography, just too bright, clear, and crisp, which ruins the overall atmosphere for me.  Crap, this is Halloween and about evil, not "La La Land."  Also, just a too rapid cut from scene to scene, in general, which again, disturbs the feeling of the movie.  It reminded me of the disaster that was "Jeepers Creepers 3," in that regard.  Oh, for the greats, such as Hitchcock who understood all the various nuances required for a good film.

In other news, I suffered through the several thousand coming attractions.  Another "Pet Sematary?"  No, just no.  Meanwhile, Hollywood "Monsterizes" Nicole Kidman.  ::)

YIKES!!!  I thought for a second she went trans.   :o   ;D

Good points on the cinematography and scene cuts.  No suspense factor at all either.  Funny you mention Jeepers Creepers 3.  I was actually wanting to see that but my instinct held me back.

Thanks for that image, Mr. Rogers.  Was that with or without sweater?  Sorry to hear Sheila passed.

Without the sweater.  I wore an oxford with a bow-tie.  Can't have milk staining the sweaters Mom made me.  Plus I'm not sure how long cows live.  It was a long time ago.  Now that I think of it, Sheila probably would've been delicious.  Medium-rare of course.   :D
