If you would learn to quote correctly there may be half a chance you'll get a proper reply..

If you would learn to think past your emotions you might have a shot at reality.

My bet is no luck.

Emotions are reality fool. Next to no-one votes for a person because they believe everything, They vote for them because they have a primal connection.. It's called advertising. JFK nailed it and it's been used ever since both in the USA and abroad. I'm not saying it's a proper way of doing things, but that is the reality. Trump tapped into the under/unemployed blue collar/ food workers, white male. Bingo! Thing is, he's now abandoned that, it served its purpose. Ask soya farmers about Chinese tariffs on American soya beans.. And the volte face with this is telling..

Only in the sense that hyper-emotional libs use them to alter and corrupt reality.

Strawman much?

Wait...you actually believe that JFK was the genesis of political advertising?

Seriously?

"I like Ike."

"A chicken in every pot..."

etc.

Quote

So did Bernie Sanders.

The DNC savaged him relentlessly and America saw their reactionary populism attacked and took the next train out of the swamp.

Cope.

QuoteThing is, he's now abandoned that, it served its purpose. Ask soya farmers about Chinese tariffs on American soya beans.. And the volte face with this is telling..

He's abandoned nothing, as anyone who attends his speeches and ralleys can confirm.

What he has done is trigger every lib in this lifeboat and their lapdog media to infinity and beyond.

Your emotions rule you, almost all of you.

And they destroy you, and therefore (by consent) America too.

I pity you for your despicable narcissism.

Correct. Trump was better than nothing. Not perfect but certainly better than nothing.

And it is really funny to me how concerned foreigners are about another country. The USA is so bad that so many want to come here (so racist, sexist, capitalist, etc yet poor people, even 'people of color, flee here and risk life and limb to do so) and so many fret about our politics. USA is so bad but please don't interfere with our trade to you or cut off my foreign aid. Pretty please, you racist, capitalist devil. Says a lot about influence, self-esteem, size, or something psychological about those other countries.

Seriously?

JFK was the genesis of making TV and image work for him with more than just buzz words. He knew how to work a crowd. And a damn sight bigger crowd than Trump could muster.

Yeah, how is it the same people are always stood behind him and they don't allow the crowd size to be shown? Funny that.  :-\  but crowd sizes aside, What Trump says one day and the next aren't necessarily the same thing, in fact they seldom are. He has no ideology apart from him; He's a product of 'reality' TV and therefore everything he says or does is geared to how much adoration he can get for him. You hadn't worked that out yet?

And yes, the soya issue is a bad one for the farmers. Check it out yourself...Trump hasn't mentioned it of course because he knows it's because of him, though he'd never admit it of course.

Quote
What he has done is trigger every lib in this lifeboat and their lapdog media to infinity and beyond.

And that's his purpose? Really? Not to bring a country together that in his words "Was a mess/carnage etc".. ? He hasn't increased his popularity and although his die hard 'base' will love him if he drop kicked new born babies across the rotors of Marine one, he hasn't attracted those who either didn't vote for him or were ambivalent whoever got in. Even today..nearly 18 months on, Obama is more popular in America than Trump has been since he took office.

Quote

Word has it emotions run high in the WH if Trump perceives disloyalty to him...He's a loyalty kinda guy, as long as it's one way.

... Trump does things for Trump, if the country or anyone else benefits it's incidental or accidental...

Trump ran on an agenda.  An agenda the country had been demanding Washington DC implement almost from the beginning of the turgid Obama years.

In 2009 the loathsome Ted Kennedy finally did something positive for the country and died.  Very liberal Massachusetts (!) actually voted in a Republican senator to replace him - to put an end to the Senate Democrat 60 seat filibuster majority.  In 2010 the country gave the House to the Rs.  In 2014 the country gave the Senate to the Rs.  During the Obama years the country switched 13 state governors from D to R, and flipped nearly 1000 state legislative seats from D to R.

They didn't like what Obama and his shit-heel administration was doing.  They didn't like that the Democrat Party had swung violently to the far left.  They didn't like the Fake News Media doing the same

The economy was tepid.  Foreign policy was a disgrace and a disaster.  That divisive coward and his toadies intentionally turned race relations back decades.  Our worst president ruled by decree and abuse of office.  Not to mention the spying and other felonies.

Donald Trump ran on the agenda the country wanted all those years.  He's been overturning the Obama's fake ''legacy'', which had no basis in law as it was not supported by legislation.  He's implemented policies to encourage job growth and investment.  He's set a new tone in foreign policy and much has already been done to address the Obama's dreadful failures.

So you decide to relentlessly attack... not Obama, but Donald Trump

You want to know who the swamp is?  It's those in DC and NY - and other pockets like those running our big cities, running our universities, and running Hollywood.  The Democrat Party, the Fake News Media, and the permanent bureaucracy.  The Ds are the party of big government, and the pretend media are their spokesmen.

You start out primed to believe what you hear from these people, and eagerly swallow it, no questions asked.  They don't like Trump, so you don't like Trump.  When he's undoing Obama's statist fake legacy, and implementing what the country has been demanding and Trump ran on, you don't recognize what's right in front of your nose, because the media is either telling you different or ignoring it.

So you square Trump's successes with what you've been told to think about it all by telling us it's all incidental or accidental.  I've never seen anyone with his head as consistently up his own ass as you here.

Gallup, which has been tracking presidents for three-quarters of a century, puts Obama’s approval in the mid to high 50s in his final week in office. In this deeply partisan country, half of you reading this will say that’s outrageously high, the other half way too low. Perhaps both sides will say, to use one of 2016’s big words, that’s it’s rigged. Sigh.

Context is useful. The three most popular presidents of the postwar era (World War II, that is) were Republicans Dwight Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan and Democrat Bill Clinton. As his final month in office began, Ike (in office 1953-1961) had a Gallup approval rating of 59%. Reagan (1981-1989) enjoyed 63%. Clinton (1993-2001) stood at 66%.

There was a bad recession and a major foreign policy embarassment (the U-2 affair) in the latter stage of the EIsenhower presidency, so Obama coming close to him seems reasonable. On the other hand, he's far below Reagan and Clinton, which also seems reasonable given the peace and prosperity we enjoyed during their tenures. So mid-fifties for Obama seems about right to me.

QuoteWord has it emotions run high in the WH if Trump perceives disloyalty to him...He's a loyalty kinda guy, as long as it's one way.

As you wish, enjoy your fellow Cuntnadian Conrad Black's sober analysis:

https://amgreatness.com/2018/05/15/why-trump-is-a-president-like-no-other/

In Trump’s rise and fall and rise as a billionaire, Black never whitewashes his ruthlessness, his fast and loose relationship with the truth (e.g., “He is not so much a cynic as a methodological agnostic, not a liar as much as a disbeliever in absolute secular truths”), and his occasionally tawdry P. T. Barnum hawking.

As he guides the reader through Trump’s various land deals, casino crashes, name merchandising, risky hotel gambits, and golf course developments, Black offers unusual insight into how Trump, or for that matter anyone else, could survive such a rollercoaster of catastrophe and great fortune. While most of Trump’s rivals share his same carnivorous ethos, very few succeeded as did Trump.

What made Trump different from his competitors? Likely, his cunning, his almost Thucydidean reading of human nature, and his sixth sense about timing and salesmanship. In Plutarchian fashion, Black focuses on Trump’s physicality, especially his boundless energy and his impatience with nuance and self-doubt (“desperate cunning, unflagging determination, unshakeable self-confidence, ruthless Darwinian instincts of survival, and a sublime assurance that celebrity will heal all wounds”). Of course, the media and politicians were not ready for the naked applicability of these traits to the White House. But, as Black notes, the American people after decades of misgovernance wereâ€"as if to let loose Trump on their country as both avenger and deliverer.
